Awoke from my mid nights slumber to find Mrs Shockprowl had placed a parcel I was expecting next to me!
Inside were three figs I purchased extreamly cheaply off a chap on TF@ The Moon. They were in top cond and I freakin' love 'em!
Optimus Minor- what a nifty little chap! No sure 'bout the head transformation, can't seem to get it right. Gunna have to investigate. Love his expression!
Injector and Sky Shadow - holy fan bean, how great are these figs?! For one I didn't realise they were delux!!! I was expecting basic size! Brilliantly wierd figs, excellant transformations, top marks! But who will they fight alongside in the Predacon Civil War? Quickstrike, my other Fuzzor, fights with Tripredacus. If these two join him, then Magmatron is going to be a bit outnumbered!

Yeah, they're supposed to awkwardly twist round to lie on the shoulders.
I picked up Allspark Legends Jazz on Friday. (£2.24 on offer in Tesco.) I passed on him when I picked up some others a short while ago, but they also had the first version there this week and comparing them I found there was quite a difference between the two: different base grey and paint apps.

I finally, finally found a Japanese MISB Silverbolt that I'd been after for years and years and years. The Aerialbots were my second favourite Special Team as a kid and, fragile that they were, all five of the individual members were broken beyond repair. Fast forward 22 years and I've finally completed the replacement set! Woo! I quite fancied getting the Japanese version and have the working launcher version of Silverbolt. There's a mini photo gallery and additional images here, so I might share my joy: www.the-hub.co.uk/reviews/transformers/thetransformersiii/silverbolt/index.html

I knew there was a launcher mode, as I had the G2 version from new (not having had the original), but I didn't know there was a working version. I can't quite tell from the instructions becuase of the size: is it activated by pressing the wheel?

Yeah, you slide the red thing in his chest over his folded down head to clip on the small red catch, then you press his front undercarriage to activate.
It works best with a rubber-wheeled Mini-Autobot such as Bumblebee or Hubcap.
Plus, a feature completely omitted from the instructions, you can attach Silverbolt's ramp mode to Metroplex as well for extra fun!
(Also, I noticed on the Japanese instructions you are to put Superion's cream chest armour on Silverbolt to complete the look of the robot mode, but on the Western instructions that step is missing. Weird.)

I shall be on the look out now for a Japanese Motormaster to get a version with a working launcher.
Japanese Onslaught I already have, complete with working launcher.

I was under the impression all 4 had the launcher in Japan.... but I'm struggling to think what Hotspot's does.

I don't think Hotspot does anything. You can spread his legs, hide his head and attach those jointed weapons to him and connect him to Metroplex, but nothing spring-loaded as far as I'm aware.

Those are cool!
I received non Transmetal Iguanus and Transmetal 2 Dinobot from a chap on TF @ The Moon. Great cond again. It's got my Beast Wars back on track following the trauma of 'Fuzzgate'. Iguanus in partic is ace. I love those 'fold-out' beasties.
Dinobot I was hoping I could use as a Beast Wars Jazz, but I'm not so sure now. Maybe if I put a blue vissor over his eyes. What ya think?

The correct term Ian is Flipchanger. It's used to describe the auto tfing beasts and MW cars.
Iguanus is a remold of ther original Croc Megatron.
Dinobot is superb, great toy.

Cheers Phil. Yep, I'm a Flippin' Flipchanger Fan! F.A.B. Starsream is a good example also.
Yes Dinobot is excellant, looks really evil! Just stuck on the Jazz front. (I have to obsessively have my big 3, Prowl, Jazz and Wheeljack, present in every 'era'. Just one of my little things!).

Yes, THE CHANGEABLE ROBOT - Finally! He looks completely awesome in his combined glory. Ah hah, those look a lot like the things Nick brought along to a past pub meet in the pub of the Magneto Chair. Are these versions made of the same hopelessly soft plastic that those were I wonder? Karl

Yup I have a few been using the head of the chap on the left for my Signal Lancer project. The plastic is so soft its a real pleasure to work with.
So what did I get yesterday. Vardia Starscream, I intended to replace a few pieces with regular Starscream pieces which will be painted to create Movie Actionmaster Thundercracker.
Swerve. I think this is more of a classic toy even though people seem to consider it a movie toy. either way its amazing. Would have made a great Jazz Prowl etc. Transformation is the most interesting Ive come across in a deluxe for ages. Paid £30 inc postage for it. If you can get it for that or less do. Its really good.
Japanese TFTM Transforming DVD case and Spychanger Prime. Dinky Prime is excellent as always.
Wonderfest Arcee. What a difference colour makes. I wouldnt pay £10 for the regular black and purple horror show, but in original arcee colours this is a work of art. OK the face is still creepy but much less so than the regular one. Oddly all the colours are back to front. White where pink should be and vice versa, buts fantastic.
Finally a giant box of BW junkers (Japanese again) came across some stuff I didnt know about.
Surive was a new one to me. Grey Optimus Primal looks great shame its missing most everything including its legs. One ofthe fuzors the one with long horns is in a brilliant bright blue. THe bison chap is in black and red. Fuzor Siverbolt looks amazing. Rhiinox orig and TM look much improved.
Theres was a lot more than I expected. the auction had three photos I though it was the same stuff from different arrangements but I now think it was each a different set of toys. Cool.

£30 for Movie Swerve ? We're talking the red car here ? Local Sainsburys still has em on shelf at a tenner.

No the top gear car, that was only supposed to be available if you bought the actual car or took it for a test drive or something.

Horlicks! Postie has just dropped a CUTA card through the door. I assume it's for Revoltech Hot Rod and Starscream from HLJ. Their value is about £18-£19. The charge is £11.37! That must be the worst Value to CUTA ratio I've ever seen!
Oh well, I've been lucky with the last few HLJ orders, including Sky Lynx, so I can't complain.
Edit: Postie also delivered some of the 1985 trading cards.
