These assortments are probably well known by now, but for completeness' sake:
834631481 TRA ANIMATED VOYAGER ASST WV2 08 2x Bulkhead 2x Optimus Prime (Note: The case is stamped with a shelf date of 1 June 2008, possibly suggesting intended distribution at the same time as Wave 1, which was printed with the same.)
834631482 TRA ANIMATED VOYAGER ASST WV3 08 1x Grimlock 1x Lugnut 2x Blitzwing
Normally, I just post the assortments as fact, without passing comment, but with Animated the assortments do beg some discussion. Wave 1, if you remember, comprised the following: 2x Bulkhead 1x Cybertron Mode Megatron 1x Starscream Consider the various versions of Bulkhead, Optimus and Megatron available - and the relative lack of Starscreams - and the mixes do seem rather curious.

838551480 TRA UNIVERSE VOYAGER ASST WV1 2x Autobot Blaster with Blockrock Mini-Con 2x Decepticon Heavy Load with Drill Bit Mini-Con
Also, for the obscure variant fans, I have noticed that on the cases for Animated Deluxe Wave 3, the product name is printed in purple on some cases, black on others.

www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-news-rumors/220056-rotf-uk-case-assortment-details-some-rumours.htmlVoyagers up by £3 and Leaders up by a fiver! Hmmm. Not sure that's a great move in the current economy. I was expecting the deluxes to be £13, but ouch. No surprise to see $100=£100 for the Supreme Combiner assortment. What an expensive line Transformers is now if you want to keep up with the new stuff! As for the toys...nice to see we're getting the scouts. Them plus Soundwave are the only ones currently tickling my fancy. I'm intrigued to see what the Human Alliance Bumblebee is like in the plastic. Case assortments seem not too bad: I hope 'MV2 Car' is popular! -Ralph

The very fact that ROTF Devastator which is complete trash, costs the same as a Yamato 1:60 version 2 VF-1 is laughable. Main line Transformers cannot be that expensive. Masterpiece Transformes can. G1 reissues can. But relatively poorly designed robots with in-accurate alt modes and numerous compromises which are basically supposed to be toys...can't.
Still, I understand it's not "evil" Hasbro's "fault." I'm sure numerous factors conspired against them to compel the price hike.
Plus - it does make sense, given that the ROTF line will have the movie advertising it. When I look at how Supreme Bumblebee is selling on my side of the universe - despite the fact that he is utter tosh - and the price he's selling at...well - it pays to have a block bustermovie advertising your toys:)
I think Hasbro specifically made ROTF toys without much care because they are betting that they will reach a public which doesn't really care on a daily basis for robot toys and the like - but will be buying these just because of the movie (and kids saying "mom! mom! I must have Bumblebee!" and the equivalent).
They've already got plenty of good lines out for collectors - so I guess they figured "why not go cheapo with the movie toys and charge an arm and a leg for them."
Don't blame them.
In fact - to the extent that these hundred GBP Devastators make Hasbro tons of money - I'll be glad because thanks to that money they will have the luxury to produce more marginal but superior collectors goods.
Pete

I don't know, there wasn't a picture of him in the solicits, but I think there may have been a picture in an SDCC gallery.

I remember that the fallen's case name was something like Alien Lifeform, so maybe that Ratchet bit was just a typo?

This is what I'm talking about with accuracy and posting when I receive the cases:
839721482 TRA MV2 VOYAGER ASST WV 3 1x Mixmaster 1x Megatron 1x Desert Tracker Ratchet 1x The Fallen
No Alien Form Ratchet. An error in the solicitations? I wonder, in fact, if it was a codename used by Hasbro to keep The Fallen secret. There were no advance pictures of either Alien Form Ratchet or The Fallen; for secrecy, the information I received from my supplier for the Voyager Spotlight Wave was that it was assumed to be the film's chief villain.
839730001 -C2 TRA MV2 LEADER ASST WV 2 09 1x Optimus Prime 1x Jetfire (Note, I received US cases, so the code may be different to UK cases.)
909310001 TRA UNIVERSE MIGHTY MUGGS W2 09 1x Optimus Prime 1x Bumblebee 1x Grimlock 1x Starscream (Note, I received US cases, so the code may be different to UK cases.)
