Well, I hadn't heard anything about dlx wave 4 being delayed or voyager wave 5 being cancelled.

I hadn't read anything into receiving dlx wave 5 before wave 4, as I'd also received 3 before 2. ETA for 4 was September anyway, October for 5.

I'll check about the Voyager next time I speak to my rep.

I spoke to my account manager today. (Sorry it's taken so long, but I haven't had cause to speak to him lately.) Voyager Wave 5 hasn't been cancelled, but neither has a specific release date been set. The supplier's been trying to get more information but to no avail; as he pointed out, if it was cancelled then they'd have told him, rather than let him keep asking about it.

why you not picking that Scout wave up ? I can't see many places buying it so Thus there being demand.

I haven't found Scouts to sell that well on the whole (RRP to P+P ratio, I guess) and also they're not that profitable once you take out the transaction costs. While I would have had a couple of cases as I've always tried to get the full range, my wholesaler has had to impose a minimum quantity on pre-orders for Hasbro products (due to several reasons, I think). With the NEST packs, it was more the case that I'd have more of a single product than I prefer (I normally order fairly small quantities) combined with them already having been available in the multiples for a couple of months. The minimum quantity isn't actually very high, but higher than what I find worthwhile for some products.

The other factor is, because of the minimum quantity, I had to order more Iron Man 2 than I would have preferred and the ROTF will be arriving at much the same time, at least close enough to potentially cause problems with my credit facility with the wholesaler.

I don't entirely rule out getting the Transformers (I want them for myself, after all ) - or for that matter, the later waves of Iron Man 2 that I haven't preordered - but I haven't preordered and am not guaranteeing I'll have them.

You can't blame though for skewing towards actual film characters, though (if you want to include Payload as a film character), especially as Optimus is actually a new mould rather than yet another repaint. My supplier didn't have any info on the Wave 3 assortment when I placed my order; perhaps Banzaitron will return in that.
