Don't expect to see Scouts in independents unless they have access to imports. Scouts are FOB products, which means that they have to be ordered in very large numbers (ordered factory direct, I think). Generally, FOB products only appear in stores that have a lot of buying power - Tesco, Argos, Toys 'R' US etc. Wholesalers do stock some FOB products so independents can sometimes get them, but because of the financial commitment, the wholesalers naturally have to pick and choose which FOB products - from all Hasbro ranges - to order. Frustratingly, Hasbro UK has been increasing the number of FOB lines over the last few years, which is why I haven't stocked Legends since the Movie line nor Scouts since ROTF. In 2007, I could obtain pretty much the whole range, but there are a lot of lines I can't access now. 2011 FOB products (from the Hasbro UK catalogue): PCC 2-pack RTS Scouts RTS Legends Cyberverse Action Set Mechtech Leader Revving Robots Energon Shock Sword Battle Mask You might think that Hasbro would want the highest volume sellers - Legends - and the premium price product - Leaders - to be available as widely as possible, but it seems they have taken the approach of fewer buyers ordering larger amounts. I'm waiting to hear about Kre-O, Human Alliance and Playskool, which don't appear in the catalogue, though Kre-O was displayed at London Toy Fair. I don't know if the others were.

They're not FOB, so I should be able to. I hope so, because it's Cyberverse I'm most interested in myself this year.

I would if I could but I don't actually know. I can't seem to find a definition that suits. It's one of those specialist phrases that gets bandied about within an industry on the assumption that everyone knows what it means. It's a bit like CUTA to new TMUKers. I shall have to try to remember to ask next time it comes up in coversation with my supplier.
What it means in practice is that you'll have to hope you'll find it in a supermarket or import it.

A quick internet search reveals it may mean Free On Board and is related to the shipping of goods. But ask Nigel as I can't see quite how this relates to what you're talking about.

Also known as Freight On Board. No, it doesn't seem to fit, does it? Like I said, I can't find a definition that suits. Perhaps it's an internal Hasbro thing.

Ah, right , so it does refer to that seemingly unrelated shipping term.
I would imagine it's not quite as suggested there, "hasbro pick up the shipping cost hence why you have to order very large amounts". That implies that you have to order large amounts because Hasbro are picking up the shipping cost. Surely Hasbro are covering the shipping costs anyway? Hence, it would be Hasbro saying, order very large amounts and we'll cover your shipping costs - or else you can't have them at all. If you see what I mean.
Anyway, now we know what FOB means.

Not as yet. If I am, I might actually order those because I want them myself. They're not actually in the Hasbro UK catalogue, but neither is Kre-O and (it appears) that will be released, so nothing definitive can be drawn from their absence. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a UK release.

BBTS have sets of waves 1 and 2, and a wave 2 case which contains all of wave 1 and a double set of Wave 2 which if these aren't hitting retail might be worth picking up.

Already sold out, sorry, minutes after I mentioned them on Facebook. I didn't order many and then the supplier wasn't even able to fulfil the full order. I was surprised they had any at all, actually, as these are supposed to be Toys 'R' Us exclusives; I don't expect to be able to order any more. Try Sven. I think he's probably still got them.
