Have a feeling that "Uranus" will be the same size as Hercules. And the stunticons will likely be simular to Crossfire enhanced Bruticus. Guess it depends on motormaster.
As for Motormaster, here's my hope... The robot is made in combination of the cab and half the trailer. The unused parts of the trailer become most of the Menasor combiner parts.

Ah! They've put a flower in Beachcomber's gun! Brilliant!

I want Cogz but I want it mini sized like Huffer was (Got the Erector recolour and its the perfect pocket sized toy). The new scout class size appeals much less.

Yes I know what you mean. The difference in scale between Huffer and Gears, and Beachcomber and Seaspray, is a problem. They should be all the same size idealy. I personally preffer the larger size, because they look better displayed with Classics/Generations, but these minis need to the same size relative to each other.

For me its partly that I just like the idea of updated minibots being mini. Its why I loved the legends minibots.
More importantly though its that these all seem to have been designed for minibot size. At that level the complexity, articulation and general build are all really good (at least based on Erector) and better than Hasbro are able to do for main line toys, upscaling those designs and suddenly they seem like very expensive and quite simple scout class toys.
Upsizing has basically eliminated both the main selling points for me. But its gears so it's on my want list.

I prefer the larger size. Minibots equate better to scouts, than legends, as Legends only work with themselves and are useless to mainline TFs. That said, when they decided to bump them up (Which was the smart idea) instead of compete with the other groups suddenly doing legend scale minibots, they either needed to go back to the design board with them, or they need to sell them for less than they do. Because they are just borderline barily worth what you pay for. Dispite the knock-offy colors, and knock-offy feel, iGear's UFO looks a lot better in my classics display than Legends Cosmos. Here's hoping Rager and Spray get upsized as well.

If he's scaled to the newer Masterpieces it wouldn't be the end of the world, mind, I actually think the new Optimus is a nice size compared to the MP Strike Planes and Alternators in my collection. It would just mean I'd have to buy the new MP Optimus, and wait with spent breath for the (surely inevitable) newer MP Megatron. I love the existing MP Megatron, for the face sculpt alone, but I'd be fascinated to see what a newer version would look like, considering the improvements made in the new MP Opimus. Exciting stuff.

Interestingly, FansToys are the poor dudes who were planning a 'Not-Soundwave' Masterpiece- right before HasTak (or whatever they're called these days), anounced the offical MP Soundwave! Can't happen to them again, can it?
The early pics of their 'Not-Soundwave' actually looked very good. But then KA-BOOM!, blown out of the water!
I'd kill for a 12 inch tall decent MP Shockwave.

HasTak (or whatever they're called these days) They are still called Hasbro and TomyTakara.

There's also apparently *two* sets of G1 Predacons coming, as well. One company has shown off Divebomb and said it'll be the same size as Yellow/Green Giant, while the other is name by Mastermind Creations (The Hearts of Steel guys), and their "Ferocons" will be the same size as Hercules.

Apparently so. It's Devestator all over again. But unlike last, this time I'm equally impressed with both.

I've only seen shadowy images of Uranos' combined mode so far. No clear images that I've found.

Cripes. If that has any fragility issues it'll lead to much wailing and gnashing of teeth among owners. -Nick
