Looks nice, but will have to be phenomenal to be worth cashing in Sphinx for: They should have done Jazz. Mirage is covered, a really good Jazz is still needed. |

There are a few Jazzes, and Downbeat is pretty good, but none of them look like they'd fit with the rest of the MPs as well as Sphinx does. To me, anyway.

Of interest to no one at all, I've just realised that the odd aesthetic that the Warbotron combiner had is a perfect match for the Siege style. This works really well!  |

Oh yes! I got that at Jodrell Bank. I had to have it. The shuttle is a rubber, the main booster a four colour pen and the side boosters are pencils. The ruler has 5 4 3 2 1 on it. Perfect.

Wondering if I'm reaching a turning point here. I've always been in on Masterpieces, but of the last three G1, Prime was just too much for what it was, Bumblebee just looks awful and this Hound is very oddly proportioned. Conversely, Fans Toys are putting out Special Teams members that are far more like the display pieces Masterpiece figures should be. That Hound above has his toon face on, which isn't as good as the silver toy one he also comes with. Being FT, Willis also has proper heft because he has a fair bit of metal in him.
Willis still seems to sell for around a hundred, which I think shows a slow uptake on MP Hound as I'd have expected it to drop a lot more than that, so I could sell mine and 'upgrade' to MP Hound for twenty quid or so. But I don't think I want to.
