I've always managed to resist Sovereign, something wasn't quite right. As soon as I saw this I knew it was the colours. Purple Galvatron does nothing for me, toy colours presses all kinds of buttons.
I really would like to preorder the toy Astrotrain too, but I've already got 5 FT preorders down and there's no info on Omegalock as to how much these two are going to cost or when they're due. As they're repaints I'm thinking they're prob due soon and I don't want to get whacked for £300ish unexpectedly if they both come in the same month.

No no no. Purple movie Galvatron has been out from Fans Toys for a few years. This... This is toy Galvatron. Target 2006 Galvatron. I need him to go with Butt Flap MP Magnus. The CITY COMMANDERS! They will lead the MP SPECIAL TEAMS!
At least if I keep telling myself that I won't start sniffing around MP versions of Cyclonus and Scourge.

Spooky. An hour after saying on the call that I reckon the next FT release will be Mirage... I get a balance request for exactly that.
Nice, but, I've only just paid for Hoist. Nasty. Unexpected that quick.
Hoist meanwhile is jolly good. More visually impressive than the recent FT Trailbreaker. He completes the 85 Diaclone cars at MP scale for me, just need FT Jazz to come out for the whole set. I have MMC Sphinx for Mirage, which I love, but the uniform feel of the FT figures means I can't resist the FT one. I'm trying to set specific goals on masterpiece figures now so I can finish off. Takara's stuff now just looks rubbish. The problem is the combiners. Still a long way to go to get the four special teams from FT.
