Have you SEEN the prices he's charging for those Japanese exclusive Headmaster heads?

I'm more astounded that one of them is named Rodney.
Or Dave, as the Triggerbots call him.
Rodney. Heh. That's even better than the Micromaster called Joe.

Have you SEEN the prices he's charging for those Japanese exclusive Headmaster heads? Holy shoot! I didn't realise they were that sought after. Mind you, I don't think I've much seen them on eBay. The extra Powermaster engines seem to be a lot more common (and cheaper). But, jeesh, that is some price per head! (Geddit?)

Heh! One ended recently for £70 on Yahoo Japan, but those prices he's charging are buttock-clenchingly obscene.
I'd love to have them though....

I think the pics are really interesting... It's obviously an early stage and goes a long way to explaining their design process.

Colour me unusual, but this doesn't really interest me that much except academically. What they are doing is very clever from the standpoint of the engineering of it. But I actually like the original Ironhide and Ratchet toys, and as a result don't really feel a need for a version that looks like the animation model.
But that's just me I guess.

Yeah this is early in the development stages. I'd love a more accurate representation of IronHide, but I'm sure it'll be well outside my price range.

HOLY RUSTED METAL BATMAN!!!!! I think that's fantastic! (but you know how easily pleased I am). I know it's only a rough version, but done right, all finished up real nice like, it'd be ace! Haven't seen too many pics of Classics Ironhide yet, but done fully this could be easily as good!

City Commander Armour- what do we thinka this?
I really really really like the sound of it! Especially as Hasbro anounced at Botcon they're no plans for an Armoured Ultra Magnus. I need an Armoured Ultra Magnus!! Pics so far don't really give one a good look-in to what the final prod's gunna be like. The one blurry image we've seen (on TFormers) makes it look pretty good. But at 76ish dollars it's on the pricey-get-beaten-by-Mrs-Shockprowl-side.
So anyones else thinking of getting this? What's folkes' opintions?

Personally I'm happy with my G1 commemorative Magnus.... Never really liked Classics in the final analysis (don't pelt me).
But for those who are UM enthusiasts and have the white Prime...well - this armor is a must, now isn't it?

Nope. Far too pricey and I don't see the point. Happy enough with re-issue of original Magnus.

It is expensive. G1 Mags ain't maneuverable enough for me. Armoured UM is one of my level two obsessions. Not on the same level and Prowl/Strike Planes/Shockwave (level one obsessions), but right below.
Probs are: No armoured UM planned. From what I've seen from the blurred pic and the prototype pics this product actually looks pretty darn good, but can one be sure from blurry pics and proto pics? But if I don't pre-order one soon, they'll prob all get taken! Oh what to do!
