Er, Hmm, Maketoys version is YELLOW. Not sure how I feel about that. I'm a G1ist after all, not a G2ist.

Third Party company 'Mastermind Creations' are putting together a rather excellent looking Sixshot figure name Hexatron. I asked them how large he was going to be, 'cos I know how you're all obsessed with the size of figures, and he'll be aprox 9 inches. Voyager/Ultra ish sized then, which I'm pleased with. Looks very nice. No word on how much he'll cost though. Guna keep my eyes pipped for this one! tformers.com/transformers-mastermind-creations-terminus-hexatron-360/16895/news.html

I like the new images of the set currently be loaded on news site- also that Megatron looks good too- solves lots of problems having the rear of the gun being arm instead of shoulders.

Bloody hell that looks incredible.
There's no way that HasTak will stand for that though, surely!!

That does look astonishing. I will be amazed if it makes it to production without getting C&D'd.

It does seem a little bit close to the bone. But then, given that their RRLS (Rapid Response Legal Strike assets) don't seem to have gone after the folk who are making "not-devastator" yet it is difficult to tell.
In terms of it as a piece of design, the humanoid mode is not a bad piece of work. Not so sold on the altmode though - the square legs make for a very awkward looking grip and either they have assimilated Hasbro's ability to mistransform their own products or they aren't really sure what a shoulder stock is for.... because I think it would be fairly uncomfortable to use the way I've seen it transformed so far.

That 4th picture is amazing on the facebook link - they need to do the homage to the scene in National Interest when Megs arrives.

Hmm, yeah, that's a really good point, Blue'. In the meantime I do hope this 3rd party Megs comes off. I had, though, a hope that some 3rd party company would do a version of Megatron from the 'Infiltration' story, I think that's the best non-gun Megatron I've ever seen (even though we didn't get to see his alt mode!).
Maybe this should be the '3rd Party Toy News Thread-a-rama'? Calling all God-Mods! Calling all God-Mods! Touch us with your power!!

[ The difference here is that I think Takara is VERY likely to make another Masterpiece Megatron Fair point. In which case the chance of Cyborg Ninja Lawyer's descending does somewhat increase. Karl

If Igear got away with their Strike Plane figs, then maybe this Megatron will escape the lawyer's clutches also!

I've changed this thread to the Third Party Thread as we've been talking about lots of third party toys not just Hercules- hope that's ok!

I got my Igear Rager (aka Huffer) last week - great toy and very good quality. Highly recommended - and it's Huffer! Nice box and the best tech spec ever.
