There's some fine Stan Bush cock-rock over the credits sequence!

Thanks to Karl. I will give it a miss. :-P wait six months to a year till you can get it at the £10 - £15 mark and it'd probably be worth the money. It is an average corridoor shooter, it's just that an average corridoor shooter isn't really worth forty notes. (The multiplayer may be good - that is all I see folk online actually talking about playing, I have heard almost nothing re: the single player campaign. But I wouldn't know about that stuff personally). Karl

Not enjoying bashing the keys. I'd rather use a controller. I can see me getting shot of it. I'll just watch the FMV's on youtube.

I believe there was some distribution problem in the UK. Or the b&m stores didn't order it properly.

There's some fine Stan Bush cock-rock over the credits sequence! I was always convinced that somehow the Stan Bush song 'Ground Zero' had originally intended to use the word 'Transformers' instead. It always sounded odd with 'Ground Zero' as the chorus. Martin

I still haven't reached the Decagon on the first Autobot chapter. I suck hard at this game.

I'd rather watch a cartoon of it and lost interest in playing it very quickly. My copy is now with he who is known as Toy-Fu.

Does anyone know why the Wii version is named Cybertron Adventures? Is it that different to other versions that they had to call it something different? Is it because the perception of Wii is more of a fun platform rather than serious gaming?

Just a different version AFAIK.

The ZP review was actually more upbeat than I was expecting- I was worried it was going to be something along the lines of film critic Moviebob's utter destruction of ROTF on the same site. I'm glad Yahtzee shares the Hub's apparent appreciation for the madly overblown dialogue.

Overall, it started off strongly - great interaction between characters, nice variety of weapons etc. but it quickly lost its charm. I'm quite disappointed in its loss of traction towards the end. Still, lots of opportunity to make a better sequel.

Let us know what it's like. IIRC it's a different game from other versions.
Ah, WFC. I'm struggling to think of something else TF related that I was very excited about and lost interest almost straightaway once I got my hands on it.

The Wii version is more of an on-rails shooter than anything else. I'll wait until it's around £10. A lot of folks weren't happy with the fact it wasn't in the same vein as the other console versions but an on-rails TF shooter? I'm into it!

I played for a couple of hours last night and enjoyed it. I enjoyed it more than the other two Wii games. More detailed thoughts to follow in due course....

To continue with my luck, I ended up buying this game as well as a second hand 360 to play it on today. The disc was in perfect condition, until 2 mins after I get home while I accidentally knock the console, causing the disc to be scrapped and now it won't play.
I will have to wait until tomorrow to go back down town to get the disc repaired. I hope I didn't just pay £23 for a disc and ruined it before even getting the chance to play it.

Got this for xmas although I don't have a PS3, so have to play it on my brother's. Not being a gamer since the time of the N64, I love the game!! Having great fun playing it and having a huge buzz transforming to move quickly, then leaping into robot form to attack. Currently on the Destroy Iacon level and there's a massive Autobot to take down. Liking it!

Just seen the images for the follwo up game.
Grimlock
I like how it looks like he has a rocket pack/booster on - that should be his gun in robot mode. Why hasn't that been done before?

I'd say that's about right given the length of the single player campaign.
