Mr McV asks: Off-topic (but closer in time), any thoughts as to which weekend ScotCon will fall upon this year?

I have been saying this for years, ever since Nick first invited me to the 2004 addition that I will have to attend one of these. They always happen at a time when cash is short.
Well apart from the year that I had cash, but was ill that day.
One day damn it I shall attend. Then people will be wishing I never attend again hahahahahaha.

I fully intend to appear for longer than normal. I will not be doing my one day visit. You will all endure me for longer than usual.

No he has selfishly left to grow poo or eat poo or grow poo eating somethings. The toys are a happy side effect of the poo that is all.

Edinburgh is going to serve as home base. Cool. Which station should I aim for, in terms of travel and hotel? Fair enough, though please spare a thought for those of us due to spend the best part of a day either side journeying... Martin

We shall be kind in our travel arrangements!
Haymarket is probably the best option for all of us converging in, but Waverly is not too far out of bounds either!

Just checked flights to Prestwick from Derry and it's currently less than £30 return. Seriously thinking of making a return to ScotCon....
