Voyager class Bludgeon- a real-world looking tank whose barrel conceals a katana and who turns into a remarkable rendition of everybody's second favourite Pretender. He has a short-sword for his off-hand and the designer made a point of stating that both weapons can hitch to his left hip.
Finally a Bludgeon toy equipped in keeping with his adopted social class.... Karl

It sounds great.
The Starscream toy should insult small children, just like in the uk comic letters pages. Then it would be the best toy in the world.

Is the Bludgeon toy good - or just looks good like Uni Galvie?

Well, we only saw one coloured test shot image but he looked pretty awesome. Certain amount of inevitable kibble but it seemed to be placed either on his back or hips to avoid restricting his movement. I look forward to seeing more pictures in due course. He won't be out till wave 4 or 5 though so it's unlikely we'll see him before 2010.

Anybody got Bludgeon yet & done a review. £35 in the shops - but i liked the look Of Uni Galvatron - but everyone review or comment i've seen says he is rubbish. Hope Bludgeon isnt. He looks nice in the box - same as Glavie.

Wreckage sort of appeared in the Titan comic (his alt mode anyway as a regular army vehicle) in army camo colours. Is the ROTF Bludgeon the same scheme?
Speaking of schemes. Has Landmine been downsized into a scout-class figure?

I knew about the other Bludgeon which Nick mentioned. Looking forward to that.
I didn't know the Wreckage repaint was out already. I'd definitley grab one, but would rather have the figure on its own.

I have been tracking my parcels and currently they're in Coventry at the Parcelforce depot "awaiting customs charges".
I don't want to be CUTA'd in such warm weather.
BUT! I have a secret anti-CUTA legal loophole weapon ready to deploy... and if it works, I shall share this secret with you and none of us will have to endure CUTA ever again!!!
Ooh, and HLJ have Early Bird pre-orders for the next waves of ROTF stuff including... Ice Cream Truck and Toaster!!

I hope it works Graham. Do share if successful, I really could do with the artillery if I am CUTA'd.

Are there any differances between the Japan & UK movie toys?

With Voyager wave 2 arriving in Toys'r'us I decided to take the plunge and buy some ROTF figures. I picked up Fallen Dave, Sideswipe and Rampage with Sideways as my over-£45 freebie. 20 minutes later I left empty-handed, mad at the world and a little bit more aware of the workings of Toys'r'us special offers. It turns out that, if you partake of a 'spend greater than X and get a Y free' offer, you cannot purchase any Ys in the same transaction and have their value count towards X. That meant that I had to make up the £45 out of non-deluxe figures to get one free, and since I only fancied Fallen Dave and Ransack out of the current selection that wouldn't really work. Bugger it, then.

I just received an outstanding case of Leader Wave 1. Strangely, it was an American case. (This supplier imports, but not usually Transformers.)
The voice chips differ between the UK and USA releases.
UK Optimus: "Optimus Prime." USA Optimus: "I am Optimus Prime" with echo effect.
UK Megatron: "Megatron" followed by a laugh. USA Megatron: "I am Megatron" with echo effect.

What's annoying is I've already opened a UK Optimus for myself. I can't really afford to keep four, to have the different versions. I'll probably keep the US versions and the Optimus I've already opened and hope to get a cheap UK Megatron at a later date.

From what I can see not much difference. The two jap toys I have don't seem any different to thier western counterparts.
Someone I know from another forum bought a Japanese version of Stratosphere and said that it has an extra Targetmaster weapon.

Ooh! I hope that's true. I read (probably on The Internet) that the original Stratosphere prototype had a drone thingy, so hopefully the Japanese version retains that.
Wondering which version of Skids to get. On Play.com the vehicle mode is just green, but the shots of the Japanese version on HLJ have the bonnet painted black, like the actual vehicle used in the film.

That legends Ironhide looks awesome. Mudflap looks full of character too. Are these available seperately?
