Not sure about the speakers on Jazz, they look very much like an afterthought. Not enough to make me not want to own him, just enough that I know I would never deploy them. I was wondering, seeing as how there's no other media to support it, and that Genereations is kinda cancelled over here, does anyone know how well the line sells?
I wonder because they're putting a lot of effort into this one, and I've just seen Silverstreak as a Stealth Force toy...

I believe Tracks' legs have an official alternate transformation for his Wheeljack redeco, not sure which belongs to who though, but technically neither are 'mistransformed' |

If it's based on G1 toys, then car bonnet on back of legs for Tracks, bonnet on front for Wheeljack.

Mindset is apparently an Autobot? Now that threw me.
I am rather liking Lugnut. Slightly ungainly looking but it looks appropriately stompy. Vehicle mode look a little like he was aiming for a Marauder but got confused and put jet engines on instead of props.
The colour scheme on Strafe is really growing on me. It has a nice display-teamish look to it.

Of what ? PCC, Generations, HFTD, Reveal The Shield? I'm wondering what shape 2011 is going to take. When's TF3 due? July 1st?. They'll be some sort of preview wave for this I bet. Jazz & Tracks are due tail end of the year. There's six announced dlx toys - Scourge, Perceptor, Wreck-Gar, G2 Laser Optimus Prime, Kup & Wheeljack that need to sell between the Reveal The Shield wave 1 and the movie. That/s 2/3 waves minimun which will probably take us to c May ish - start of the year is never that busy. There's another Voyage wave with Rumble & Frenzy. The only sign of any more Scouts is a hint that Hubcap may be repainted as Big Daddy. Usually the US cools down a bit before the new film to clear some shelf space. I'm not sure I can see room for much more product pre movie. |

2 per case in only one case, which is possibly the last in that size assortment. BBTS were asking $18 for it.
I bought a case and will sacrifice the 2nd on eBay.

That doesn't really say Windcharger to me. Aside from the rear black window thingy, it doesn't really look like him. It's a shame they didn't do something closer to his original, distinctive face.
As to G2 Prime, his chest reminds me more of Energon.

Not sure about it. Looks a bit cheap and plasticky. One I need to see on the shelf to make a judgement about whether it's a pick-up or not. It is a shame it does not have the distinctive face of the original toy though there is nothing wrong with that facesculpt.

Ah. I may not have been clear.
Windcharger is in the November Scout case - due the same time as Track, Jazz and the PCC Dinobot & Constructicons.
The Windcharger case is:
2x Backfire
1x Insecticon
2x Breacher
1x Firetrap
2x Sunspot
2x Windcharger
2x Chopsaw
After that there's no more scouts been shown as opposed to six different dlx, though there is a rumoured Hubcap as Big Daddy repaint......
