Missile launchers, definitely. Light-up swords are nice enough and all but pinging projectiles across the room is, in my opinion more fun. (my younger self would very much agree with me - Grimlock for example always brought his large-bore launcher to most fights when I was a kid).
I do think we should have more transformers with multiple missile launchers though. There are so few that can generate a proper Itano Circus.

I like imaginative weapons. Missile launchers are cool, but there was always the fear of actually playing with them, since you'd shoot it and then have to spend ages hunting for the missile.
Now, MASK Rhino's missile. THERE was an amazing spring-loaded missile....

Missiles for me. I'll never forget accidentaly whizzing someone's missile over Piglet's head when she was a baby. Happy days.

Hmm. I shoulda put an option for Laser Optimus Prime since it has an awesome array of firing weaponry AND a light up sword*!
*Except mine doesn't because I have the Japanese version.

Missile launchers like what Hoist, Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker had, where you could choose between three different attachments (fist, missile, blaster) and store unused ones on their shoulders or backs.
But best of all would be a Death's Head hand attachment with fist/blaster/missile/axe/sword options.

For amount of play I'd have to say the actionmasters with droid types. Sideswipe, Powerflash, Soundwave, Bombshell, Rad and Mainframe all had good ones. Plus the Rhino gun chap.
Not Jazz and his skateboard.

hmmmm i like somee of the old target masters... and do the cassettes count? after all buzzsaw came with soundwave... some of the headmasters were pretty cool as well...
i always had a blast with G1 megs accessories as a kid. his extra gun bits are excellent to fool with in either mode...

Post by shadowynne on Feb 24, 2011 18:21:21 GMT

oh wait microman not inchman, like the micronaut figures? in that case no, i havnt...

No, not Diacone. Microman, which are a larger 3 3/4 inch figure Part of the cannon mode forms a chair for a Microman to sit on. Unfortunately I can't find a picture of it here

yeah im intrigued, im doing a google search now...
huh? got one pick, hey cool, i have a few microman/micronaut figures, im going to have to dig out megs and try that, very cool thanks! the pic i found is a bit unclear no how you make the seat but i will figure it out... cool, a new thing, thanks!
i have always just sat my diaclone pilot in the oval gap in the stock (makes a little cockpit) and folded in the handles, make it look like a giant anti artillery gun... looks cool and pushes megs scale to gundam-massive
man i have always wondered what the little flip out handles on the scope were thats awesome!

Could I third the original Prime trailer - it folds out to make a nice mobile base looking thing, with a weapons/sensor platform on an articulated mount, a recon vehicle and a device for catapulting smaller vehicles off the ramp of the base.
Definitely the best addendum bit any Transformer hauls around.

I had so many, many hours of fun with the Combat Deck... and so many configurations as well!
I was always enamoured by Soundwave's batteries as well.

Can Prime park inside his own trailer?
That would make him the first ever Pretender Vehicle!
Well, stationary Pretender Vehicle.

Can Prime park inside his own trailer? We know (from 'Prey') that his trailer could hold a facsimile construct of him. But in the Sunbow continuity Prime's trailer disappeared when he transformed. What would happen if he transformed whilst inside it? Would he disappear completely along with the trailer? Martin

Tell you another good acessory, Shockwave's Action Master buddy, er, Fistfight or something? Goofy toy, but given lots of personality in various little comic strips I've seen here and there, a personality that's something of a constrast to Shockwave's! An interesting dynamic.

Not counting weapons - which part of a Transformers toy [or other line toy if you want to add that] is the most lost.
eg - Octane - parts being the rear wing or tanker cover not his gun [due to his gun not being a part that fits on his transformed mode] Powermaster engines do count.
Ones I had are - Guzzle turrent after it broke off. Tracks arm after it broke.
