Who knows. This is the hotel who tried to charge for me for my room when I turned up even though I paid two months ago. There wasn't much there at the "35 trillion possibilities" buffet breakfast and what I tried was awful. Tomorrow I stay safe with cereal, toast and the BOIL YOUR OWN EGG machine. -Ralph Ralph for £13 I expect a photo of a plate piled so high that it is scraping the ceiling Would you really pay £13 for a bowl of cereal?? (unless it is Ricicles?)

Train Toilet Trouble?

|
Post by The Doctor on Sept 23, 2018 18:30:50 GMT
There was some mild difficulty which meant I had to use a station loo. Leeds train station is very nice and has a stupendous entrance/exit. Alas the toilet is in a hell dimension where one must kill flies and wipe up...something...on the floor before Ruling In Power.
The train has been fine so far.

Can we have a new rule that Ralph must remember past conversations?
He is currently reeling from the 'news' that I don't like Excalibur or Alien.

I have discussed my dislike of these films at least twice before for Alien and three plus for Excalibur.
Still, neither is worse than Star Trek V.

The audiobook version was read by James 'Man of a Thousand Voices' Doohan who deployed his usual three gruff takes on all the characters. About once an hour there would be an 'oooaaaooooowaaaa' sound effect.
Not one of the better efforts.

Errr... right... thanks... for that.... Probe was the book where manuscript that was originally submitted by the author was subject to some massive changes between the original draft submission and what was actually published as I recall. (That was the Margaret Wander Bonano (sp?) book yes?). If so the original draft ran straight into a wall of new guidance coming out of Paramount which led to a major tear-down and rebuild on the novel and resulted in something...no-one was really happy with.
