Undertow's existance makes the upcoming Botcom Octopunch dissapointing. As Undertow has the absolute perfect head for an octo repaint.

Forbidden Planet in London have a few, prices seem cheaper than labels: picked up Steelshot for 6.99 but the sticker was 7.99. The others they had were stickered over a tenner though.

I wouldn't exactly call it my TRU - I only visit the Swansea branch two or three times a year. However, if anyone is still looking for Undertow, I may be able to provide assistance....

yep all the time!
in fact i dont think any of my pccs are with their original minicons.
i particularly like chainclaw with crankcase and my throttler is always with steam hammer, who has also just adopted the drill micron from my prime skywarp.

I should have kept my PCC. I actually prefer them to Combiner Wars! *hides* No need to hide. I wouldn't say I like them *more*, but I like them just as much as. Fun combiners, done in a different way. I'm still sad there weren't more. But this is off topic. Phil loves his Power Core too. 5mm hands and we'd be laughing |

Ralph may need to re-acquire Dinopope and Constructicon Whatshisname. They were lost during some difficult times.
I tended to fiddle with my old PCC's quite a lot. CW is ok but not as fiddlesome somehow. Not sure why!

As much as I like my Masterpieces and the like, some times you want to just bash bits of plastic together making "BSSSHHH!" and "BLAMM!" and "IIIEEEEE!" noises. "The Dinopope Hunt is on!" :-) I actually picked up a couple of PCC Commanders at TFN - Heavytread and Undertow, because I used to have them and felt like they were worth re-adding to my slimmed down collection. They are extremely fiddlesome, I think part of it is that they are really quite cleverly engineered - getting the three modes out of them in a way that is relatively elegant is quite an impressive trick. I am severely tempted to pick up a few of the other Commander figures again - I'm less concerned about replacintg the missing drones, but I do find myself fancying having one of the "Firefox-ish"-mold guys again at some point. PCCs were so good. Much as I've loved Combiner Wars, I really wish there'd been more PCCs. Or a way had been found to integrate them into CW...

Phil has always liked PCC
I don't think the drone limb concept sat well with traditional fans, and the limbs could have done with more articulation, and hands that could hold weapons. A few of the drones were a bit dodgy, and I recall the blue car in the five pack being a nightmare!
They could have done with a few more repaints, Sledge in green with the Constructicons in green, and Icepick in some of the GIJoe colours, and the last three commanders, the best ones, in any colours.
