So are the 5 pack combiner limbs full robots in themselves or vehicle drones that TF into limbs ? I'm not fussed either way.

5mm peg hole hands are back - yes - and ball jonted limbs too !

Minicons: Traditional sockets - so backwards compatability - and most seem to have 5mm pegs / Minicon posts too.

Drones: I can live with the drones controlled by larger robots - I wonder if we'll see single/2 pack drones later ? Would like to see on of the individual commanders combined with drones. Drones have Minicon posts - good !

OK, so looking at the official pics hosted on TFW2005, it looks like the limb-component vehicles of the 5 packs have no robot mode.

I guess at least it's not Energon Prime...

Is Energon Prime the only previous example of drone limbs ?

I likle the idea of these ones, unlike Prime's they're fully coloured - Prime's were too plasticy and monochrome. Some of these have moving parts and a Minicon socket too.

I can see Drone 2 packs and Minicon/Drone 2 packs in the work.

I don't think too much of them. I prefer a TF that I can transform not one that transforms automatically when I connect it to another one.

But they aren't Transformers. They're drones, like Roller, but that can combine with the main robot.
