So, um - I've got my pre-reg confirmation number and I've booked a room.
Anyone else super-keen like moi and booked up already?
Marc.

Not as yet. I hope to be there for Toy-Fu duty as usual though I am not sure if finances will permit. It's still too far away for me to devote too much thought to it anyway. If I do make it I will be staying elsewhere as I thought the hotel was dreadful.

How long does it usually take before you receive the email with your registration details after buying your ticket? I bought mine a week ago today and still haven't had any response.

Thank you.
I thought it was odd that they only requested my name, date of birth and payment via paypal. I was worried incase I missed something.

Since I'm all unemployed and that, I'm thinking about taking requests for sketches for collection there to help fund my weekend. I'd charge the same as I did for sketches at the con last year (£10 for a head, £20 for a body), but with this being ahead of time they'd probably turn out better. I know there's not many guys here into that whole sketching scene, but I figured it's worth mentioning.

I was hoping to make it along this year (for once!) but now look like I will be handing in my thesis a week or two after. I suspect it would be very frowned upon if I took a few days off just before that.

I have literally no idea if I will be there or not. No clue. It's rather low down on my list of priorities at the moment!

Typical that the first year where I have been able to afford to go' seems to be the one year that no one is going.
I just received my confirmation email, so now just a case of booking hotel room, travel and the time of work, if I am still employed by then.

Good, good. I will be registering in the next few days - needed to wait and see how the rest of the years various trips and commitments shaped up before I laid out the funds. All being well I should see you folks there.

Booked my place months ago, booked my hotel room couple months ago (and almost have the cash scrounged up) and will be dealing with train tickets either mid next month/early june.
And of course saving money every month to add to my rich man wallet for August lol

I now have registered for AA, and have a hotel room booked, all I need to do now is book transportation but as the train tickets won't be bookable until sometime the end of June I shall leave that on the back burner.

Really enjoyed last year, first time I saw a lot of the TMUK lot in a long while. Unfortunately, short of another unexpected cash windfall (like last year), I probably shan't be able to attend.

Buying tickets for myself and the mrs after pay day this month, holiday then moving house took an awful lot of funds away from my ready cash fund.

Booked my ticket today - just to wait for the e-mail to get hotel room booked. Expect ticket number by now to be over 400.

I'm sure there will be a number of folk in the bar on the Friday night at one point or another. Will I be one of them? You might very well think that. I'm afraid I couldn't possibly comment.
