Spotted Ravage and Cannon Bumblebee in Forbidden Planet (in Glasgow) earlier. No sign of Mudflap though...
Does anyone know if Countdown and Darkwind/wing are still kicking around in TRU, or have they been swamped by movie stuff? Should have got them when I first saw them, I suppose...

If anyone coming to AA sees either Movie Ramjet or Skywarp and wants to pick em up I'll be happy to reimburse. I took mine back after deciding I couldn't afford them but at £10 I'm tempted again.

Jonathan Mudflap was in there last weekend. He must have sold. TRU Govan still had plenty of Darkwinds and Countdowns when I was last in a couple of weeks ago, when I picked up the latter. -Ralph

Cheers!
What's Countdown like then? Never saw the original mold, but am tempted by the Micromaster homage.

If you enjoy big chunky Transformers, then you'll like it. He also comes with a hammer he can bop on the heads of smaller robots!

Countdown looks great, though is a little too pricey at £25.

After a couple of months away, toys have returned to the local ASDA. Some oddities have turned up, which I assume are also US store exclusives as the packaging is all in English only. Universe versus 2-packs, featuring re-issues of Cybertron toys that were recoloured as Sector 7 scouts for the 2007 movie line. £14.97 each. One pack is WAR OF THE WAVES featuring Air Raid (camo paint scheme version) and Storm Sourge. The other is THE DATA WAR featuring Clocker and Hardtop.
The former would usually interest me, but frankly I have enough Transformers for a good while after AA!

The Transformers have disappeared from my Asda now. There was a full aisle end a few days ago. Now they've rearranged the toys and the only ROTF to be found are RPMs, Legends and a few Scouts. I haven't bought my Skywarp and Ramjet yet. I bet they'll be back to silly prices when they re-emerge from the stock room.

The Universe 2-packs in my ASDA sold very quickly. That's what happens when they hadn't sold any toys for 2 months I suppose. ROTF Skywarp and Ramjet have now arrived. £15 a pop.

Some of the Asdas in my area have reduced Universe deluxes to £6.50 or less, if anyone sees any Acid storms for that price and could pick me up one or more I'd be very grateful. Urge to repaint has started again.

What would it cost to get you to make an actionmaster Thundercracker? That is like, the impossible dream!

If you can supply the toy (any strike jet) a few quid either side of £15 probably.
Or get me drunk and leave me alone with paints and toy.

Ah, if only I had known that when all those dealers were trying to throw their strike jets away at AA!
I shall keep my eyes peeled for you

Found one at Argos for £10, not terrible. If your serious about actiomaster Thundercracker lmk, it'll be sat in my pile of junk for a while till I think of something to do with it.

Strange SKU in ASDA: 'TRA UNIVERSE BATTLE: £12.97 beside a big empty space on the shelf. Can't be the Scouts 2-packs as they have a different price point and it isn't ROTF Deluxes as they are £12.87. Hmmmm.

Two-packs have been observed in my ASDA this evening at the £12.97 price. They had one each of the two varieties and a large space behind them as if there used to be more behind.

Asdas prices have gone a bit random of late but the £12.97 seems the normal rate. Kinda tempted hopefully the price will drop though.

See these packs in my local Asda yesterday too. A more exciting find though was Ejector the toaster! I couldn't resist buying him and although priced up as 7.99, he went through the register at the bargain price of 4.99! Actually, that's all that scouts should cost in the real world. Neat little toy btw and different.

I didn't want to announce this and start a fruitless crusade across Britain, but now armed with more knowledge I think it's safe.
I found a blue Animated Ultra Magnus in my Toys'r'us a couple of weeks ago.
Just one. Sitting there on a shelf for two seconds before an eager mum nabbed it for her even more eager wee boy. I did notice it had a Chinese sticker on the bottom of the box, and couldn't figure out how it got there until I opened up a box of "Animated Leader Asst" with a Megatron and Bulkhead in it. They had the same stickers. The same stickers, I might add, that all the Nightwatch Optimus Primes had when they showed up a couple of months ago. These are foreign overstock Toys'r'us have bought in from, well, China I'm going to assume.
So check out your local Toys'r'us if you're after a blue Ultra Magnus. They could be out there!

Well spotted dude. Do you happen to know the price of the big smurf? Same as the Roadbuster version?
