On TRU Trip today saw Animated Blurr. Don't recall seeing him before. Has he been out for ages and I've not noticed ? It has been out for a while I'm afraid. I think they first turned up cheap. He's an ace figure though, get him!

Found Nightboat (the crime solving boat), Red Baron, Scattorshot & Breakdown in Asda, Orbital Swindon.
Passed on Wideload.
Someone had beaten me to the Skystalkers. If anyone who's coming next week see's one in ASDA can they grab one for me and lmk ?

Skystalker secured today at the West Swindon ASDA. We're that sort of town, we have two ASDAs.
Plenty of his friends there.

Hmm. Not many toys in the local Asda. I've got nothing else on so I might nip out there anyway. Working tomorrow so I can check the much more toy-tastic Govan branch. I haven't bought any TFs for myself since Christmas and I quite fancy a Skystalker.

Get the other two new moulds too, both rather good. And the two repaints I bought are great too.

Asda Toryglen, surprisingly, had the full selection. I swithered over Scattorshot and Breakdown before deciding I didn't fancy them and came away with Divebomb and Skystalker.
On the walk back I encountered two neds walking out of King's Park. I wondered, just for a moment, why they weren't in school. The shorter one piped up thus:
"Here mate, ye got a fag?" "No, sorry, I don't smoke." "Here, you were the one that got on tae us for smoking on the bus, wuren't ye? Imagine that!" "Yeah, small world."
He shouted something about my being a cunt as I walked away but most of it was drowned out by traffic noises. I gave it a hundred yards or so before looking back but they weren't following. I didn't think they would- there were only two of them and neds are a cowardly and superstitious lot who tend not to engage unless the odds are in their favour to a ridiculous degree. Still, it's nice to know they live so close by.
Did I mention how happy I am to be back in Glasgow and how sad I'll be to leave it to go to Saudi? No? Wonder why.

All the emails and documentation I've received has led me to believe I've been accepted and am going, but there's still an interview I have to attend in London next Friday. We'll see after that.

Swadlincote Sainsburys. New Scout class ROTF stuff. Picked up Skystalker, they had Brakedown and Scattorshot at least in as well. Seven pounds and ninety-nine pee.

Is Skystalker the best Scout for ages ? If you're having trouble getting him to stand with the feet closing then turn each leg out to the side a bit.

Home Bargains has the ROTF Nemesis three pack (Dave, blue Soundwave and Movie Voyager Megatron repaint) for £19.99. IIRC this was originally £59.99 at TRU.

The Entertainer Cardiff yesterday had Cyber Ops Bumblebee.
They also still had the 25th anniversary Optimus Prime. I was disappointed at how far off the colours were. The grey of the trailer is too light and the cab's red looks faded - almost more of a dark pink or light magneta. It's almost as if Hasbro did the wrong colours on purpose to persuade the completists to buy another Optimus.
