Generations Prime. Bumblebee and Drift in FPG at a laughable £15 (TRU want £10 for them). They looked ok.

The Entertainer Cardiff yesterday had Cyber Ops Bumblebee. They also still had the 25th anniversary Optimus Prime. I was disappointed at how far off the colours were. The grey of the trailer is too light and the cab's red looks faded - almost more of a dark pink or light magneta. It's almost as if Hasbro did the wrong colours on purpose to persuade the completists to buy another Optimus. As usual Hasbro seem to know how to get to me. I had no plans for the 25th Prime, but having an Entertainer open in town with them at £20 is testing my resolve. The colours on the robot I kind of like. The trailer a lot for some reason. Also I like that its a much more slim line box than the American version. I'm not sure what version this is as its all English so surely cant be a Hasbro UK product can it? Andy

The UK version omits the DVD and has a far less fancy box. Otherwise I think it's the same as the us one. Does it have the comic though?

It doesnt have the DVD? I thought it did have the comic but if I'm wrong about DVD I could be wrong about that too.

I'm fairly sure the UK version has the DVD removed due to licensing issues. But then, £20 for a Prime? Hell, I;d be tempted!

I already have 7 boxed versions of the G1 toy. At least 25* other versions of Prime plus the Beast Wars/Machines chaps. I really really dont need another, but it is calling to me everytime I walk past.
Andy
*I just shocked myself by counting how many of those 25 Primes have been released in the last 3 or 4 years.

It's out today. I had a look through it. Power Core Combiners 2-packs £8.99, 5-packs £19.99. Rest of the toys on the page were ROTF movie things. No sign of Generations/Hunt for the Decepticons. On another page were the Stealth Force: £9.99 and £14.99 range as well as SF Prime at £29.99.
Nothing in stock.

Bought a PCC 2-pack in my local Argos. Only one they had in stock, which turned out to be Searchlight. It's not a very good toy to be honest.

My local ASDA just re-arranged their toy section and took away all the Transformers other than RPM's and put other stuff there so I'm not holding my breath. -Ralph

I went to Lakeside with £200 in my pocket and didn't buy a thing. But I was shocked to see that Asda Living had a genuine official Drift as well as War For Cybertron Optimus and Bumblebee.

I've spotted Battle Ops Bumblebee in the 3 Entertainers I go to (Bristol Galleries, Cabot Circus and Keynsham). Retailing for a hefty £69:99.
First toy I've seen on the UK shelves in HFTD packaging.

Replaced by other new toy lines. And Sainsburys still has the same ROTF figures they've been trying to flog since last November! It's not easy finding TF's on the shelf in Edinburger. -Ralph

Tis the same in TRU Edinburger. Was through in Glasvegas. FPG had HFTD Deluxes wave 1 at the eye-watering price of £14 a pop and the 'pull my ring' Bumblebee at £60. A1 Comics had HFTD Wave 1 Voyagers at £22, HFTD Wave 1 deluxes at £13, wave 1 Generations deluxes at £13 and wave 1 Power Core Combiners at £22. I've yet to see any of the new stuff outside a comic shop or con. -Ralph

Phil went to TRU today and was depressed by the piles of unsold Movie stock and Animated Voyagers. Tell me about it. I'm seeing loads of Ravages, Scorponoks, Dead Ends, Demolishers etc all prolonged peg and shelf warming. The only new fig I've seen is the 'pull my ring' Bumblebee. ===KEN

Took myself out to TRU near Ibrox in Glasgow today, as it's my birthday and I felt like spending some cash. Nothing new, tho I did manage to pick up Wreck-Gar and Shockwave for a tenner each...
The big ASDA next door had all the first wave of Generations in though, and my local Argos now has the PCC 2-packs in stock too. But no new movie stuff anywhere...

The new "movie" stuff is Hunt for the Decepticons.
Tescos has it on their website so checking their stores might be a good idea.

Went into TRU southampton oday, they have Huffer, Smoulder and Searchlight now, but nothing else new. Tesco's has nothing, and Asda has not one single solitary TF.
