Transformers G1 covers are currently being sold in HMV for £19.99 each or 2 for £30. They seem to be a mix of sticker sheets and replacement plastic bits, all based on the Dreamwave MTMTE profiles. The HMV I visited had the Megatron, Optimus Prime, Huffer and Arcee variants.

There's a post on the 2005 boards saying ASDA have the new wave of TFs in and some stores have been blowing them out for £2 !

I saw Landmine and Camshaft today in woolies for £8.25 each (I think) as part of some 25% off promotion.

The other day I was browsing in Woolies Clydebank and spied the Ratchet Blaster for the first time in the plastic. As I was shooting up the aisle via the magic of the 'try me' feature, a woman walked past with her ickle boy. "I can't find the Transformers! They were here!" She looked directly at the Transformers, shook her head and walked away. She quickly returned. "The Transformer toys are right here in front of you," I pointed out, helpfully, while still shooting up the shop with the Ratchet blaster. She looked right through me and sighed. "There are no Transformers here! I don't understand it!" she screamed, threw up her hands and marched her son out of the shop.
It would seem the Ratchet blaster also comes with a perception filter. Awesome.

Awesome. -Ralph Well, perhaps it is like my new CD player - which warns me not to look into or place my hands into the invisible lasers. I'm not clear how I am supposed to be able to see where the invisible lasers are to avoid them mind you..... Karl

I had a similar experience recently. I ordered a couble of cases of FABs, then received a call from the supplier to tell me they couldn't find them in the warehouse. My conclusion was that the "robots in disguise" idea worked.
The Transformers were found a few weeks later, before hiding again the next day.

I spotted several Movie 'battle scenes' toys selling for £19.99 each in a shop called Clarks Stationary (a bit like Partners, but with toys as well). The boxes recreate the famous ‘Orson dragging a legless Bumblebee from the pub' and ‘Bumblebee plays with toy soldiers’ scenes from the movie.

We have them in Toys'r'us too, also 19.99. We also have FAB wave 5 (2 each of Prime, Starscream, Ratchet and Frenzy), voyager wave 1 (Ratchet and Blackout) back for an encore, and leader Prime and Megatron.
Also, when I did a computer search for "voyager" among the action figure listings to get the reference number to print a sign for the Ratchets and Blackouts, they came up along with Animated and Universe listings. Neither released yet, obviously, but seeing them there made it all seem so much closer. Not long now!

The movie Robot Heroes 2-packs are in FPG at a taking-the-piss £9.99 a pop. A1 has the Movie legends two-packs for a fiver a pop: Rescue Ratchet/Brawl and Blue Prime/Other Bloke I Forget Who.

Which reminds me- they had those two-packs in ASDA this morning too. No other TFs- just them.
Actually, they might have had some FABs on the shelf below but it was just the usual Megatron and Frenzy.

"Final Stand" and "Capture of Bumblebee" packs were to be found in Tesco in Falkirk this weekend (along with the same endless sea of Movie Legends figures that can also be found in Woolworths).

My local Woolies also had a seemingly endless supply of movie Legends.
We've finally got a decent stock of Primes and Megatrons at TRU now, and the voice changer helmet and Battle Rig blaster have returned along with "wave 1" deluxes that in fact contain wave 6- Cliffjumper, Landmine and Camshaft. I guess if I want Payload and Dropkick I'll have to give Play.com a shout.

Payload's down to $5.99 in BBTS' sale. I don't know what the shipping would be like for that.

Hmm. Dropkick is $12. Stockade is $15. That's $33. It would cost about $59 to get them here, if they were available in shops, not counting any postage from Play.com or Amazon or somewhere.
Hmm. Quote for combined postage is $31. So about £10.70 a pop. Not bad.

According to xe.com. $33 is currently worth £16.55, so it should be safe.

Haven't seen any yet, and I'm not back in work till next weekend as I have my run this Saturday, but I'll gladly keep my eyes open. Last time I was in we had just received about 20 cases of the previous wave, and I wouldn't expect to see more for a while unless we're stocking up in preparation for dropping the price when Animated and Universe come out.
Heh. Dropping the price. We were still selling Cybertron at full price while the Movie stuff was on the shelves. Some sort of special offer can't be discounted, though. I'll ask when I'm next in.

Not new exactly, but Nightwatch Prime appeared at Argos for the first time in about 6 months of trying. Better still all Transformers are 25% of so I only paid £30.

A new Asda opened in Bridgend last week. They had a decent, if curious Transformers display: SWTF Wave 6, 3" Titanium (Optimus, Galvatron, Rodimus, Thundercracker), Movie legends in a style of CDU I hadn't seen before - 2 facings, 4 wide. Finally, Movie Deluxe Bumblebee, Jazz and Recon Barricade, a rather unusual mix.
Meanwhile, Wave 1 has also reappeared in Woolworths - just Bumblebee and Brawl.
The Starscream Blaster is reduced in Argos. (Half price, I think.) I was told by a supplier last week that Hasbro is discontinuing this blaster, so get 'em while you can.
