As long as my supplier gets its delivery on time, I should have them in stock the latter half of next week.

FPG has the re-colour US edition of Masterpiece Starscream. The price? An eye watering £89.99. No wonder it's kept behind the counter.

Ninety-quid? That seems rather excessive. (Bearing in mind that importing the USA Edition version from HLJ would set yuo back £50 plus £16 for EMS shipping). A little too much of a mark up for my money. If he was a bigger scale (1/40th or 1/48th or something huge) I could see it. But not at the scale he is. That is a bit steep.

I've found an online UK store that's imported the American partyware. www.heroesforkids.co.uk/erol.htmlIt doesn't appear to be possible to link directly to the partyware page, so follow the link through from their main Transformers page. I don't know how the prices compare to eBay. The greetings cards are the UK range I reported in the Toy Fair thread. This is the first shop where I've seen them, other than an Optimus Grandson card in WH Smith. Edit: also check out their imported Yoda cake decorations.

Big Chris! If anyone wants to enter the competition for the Roary party set, I'm pretty sure it's Big Chris 90 quid for Wal-Mart Starscream is obscene, particularly as it retailed for $49.99 in the States- less than a third of what FP are charging! -Nick

Sainsbury also has a curious mix of Deluxe: Bumblebee and Recon Barricade. They also had Wave 1 (I think) Cyber Slammers: Bumblebee, Brawl and another one I can't remember.

Woolworths in Falkirk have got a case of Ratchets and Blackouts from somewhere, as well as stack of Bumblebees and Brawls. First actual Transformers, apart from Legends that they have had in about a month.

Meanwhile Woolies in Argyle Street, Glasgow has the Cyber Slammers wave with Cliffjumper and Brawl in it, along with Ratchet, Blackout and a solitary Jazz. Looks like they got a few cases of wave 1 from somewhere.

I had a dream last night that I walked into A1 Comics this coming Sunday and found a peg of Animated Jazz toys. I hope this is some kind of portent.

Am I right in thinking that A1 source their Transformers from the UK rather than import? If so, then your portent is unlikely to come to pass for another month.

Am I right in thinking that A1 source their Transformers from the UK rather than import? Depends. Like most of their toys they source some things domestically and others through overseas sources I think. Karl

I recall Nick saying that a fellow in A1 was expecting Animated to come in soon.

Define "soon". I've been given a mid-May ETA.

I spotted several Movie figures in Sainsburys over the weekend, including Jazz, 2008 Bumblebee and Brawl. Oddly, they were packaged in robot mode and labelled with an 'exclusive to Sainsburys' sticker. Each one is selling for 9.99. I can't see any discernable difference in the character paintwork from the earlier releases. Edit: I stand corrected. I've just noticed this news item about Target exclusive blue versions.

Jibbly bibbly boo!
I shall scour the stock room tomorrow! Hot damn.
Also, I completely forgot to mention that the "08 wave 1" Legends selection is now out in TRU- containing Cliffjumper, Recon Barricade, Jazz (pretty much unchanged- maybe slightly lighter) and the only new mould, Bonecrusher.

Well, according to the stock computers the sets arrived at our warehouse on the 29th of April. Sadly, none have yet been assigned to Glasgow stores. We're really short on TF stuff and could use a few extra boxes to fill the shelves so we don't have to put out more Unleashed Bumblebee!

A load of Movie Deluxes have turned up in Tesco and Falkirk. The assortment seems to be made up of Brawl, 70's Bumblebee and Recon Barricade. (Or in practice - a Brawl, a Bumblebee and a great dollop of unloved Recon Barricades...)

Apparently TRU are now recieving the Movie Ultra exclusives - repaints of Cybertron Jetfire and Wingsabre - in addition to the animated 2 pack none of us have seen

Oh yeah my TRU had a stack of them (animated 2 packs) last week. Typical for them to turn up in the local store of the guy who already has three of them. Speaking of which if anyone wants one they can have it for £20 including postage.

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR! I still weep for the lack of animated 2-packs. I am waiting until the Agent of TRU can acquire one and thus the discount of destiny can be applied.

My local Toyworld is closing down, boo hoo. Managed to squeeze my way in there on the second to last day. Grab a Rescue Ratchet to trade with, no other movie stuff there (other than crapy Megatron Robot Replicas) and, would you believe, a Classics Megatron!!! Classcis?!?! What they still doing about?! The day before when I had a quick sneaky look in, but couldn't buy anything (cos I were pished and skint from the beer festival) there were FOUR Megatrons!!! Someone found them in the far corner of the stock room or sumat?!
So I grabbed the last one for trading. But doubt he'll be popular at all with the superior Japanese version out there.
