He was very nearly a construction vehicle "General" Optimus Prime for G2? Also, blue G2 Combat Hero Prime.

Well Animated is theoretically a fire truck, Cybertron Prime was a fire truck and RID Prime was as well and Armada, Energon and Movie were fairly different from the standard look. With the exception of Armada Prime its the robot modes that always share the same elements which is noe getting a bit dull. Its probably why I like Supercon Armada Prime and Animated cyberton mode Prime so much.

I was surprised to find back on Woolworth's shelf this morning, their movie triple pack of Jazz, Brawl and Protoform Prime (£19.99). Oddly, the shelf label said "Universe triple pack".
Also, their movie Legends are down to £2, though obviously they only had a legion of Megatrons.

A1 Comics was just getting in Universe Deluxe this afternoon. As with elsewhere, £12.99. They don't look any bigger than the Animated Deluxe, which are £9.99. That is just taking the piss. Price should be standardised.
I think Universe is a '3 for 2' or other promo buy only for me.

They are standardised - unfortunately the standard is Star Wars Transformers and the upcoming Marvel Transformers.

Ah, I see.
The logic still escapes me though when I see two different lines of TF Deluxes, but one line is £3 dearer than the other but does not have extra features or is bigger. Just makes me scratch my head.
Moan, moan, whinge whinge.

The Robot Heroes are a bit pricey in Toymaster - they're selling for £6 each. That's about £2 more than I would be williing to pay for non-transforming figures.
Thanks for the heads-up Phil, I bought Universe Prowl.

TFW2005 tipped me off that Argos has new Universe and Animated. Available on their site and in store apparantly.

I very nearly stormed Argos myself after reserving a few items. But then I reminded myself that I might prefer to wait and get the Henkei versions.

Just to muddle matters, I see that Argos now have SWTF listed at £14.99. Argos has an introductory 25% off Activators (so currently £3.74). They also have the Animated duvet cover. Edit. Argos is selling a Universe Legends triple pack. Whilst their previous Legends four-pack was good value at £9.99, this triple pack is priced at £8.99, which is slightly dearer than buying them individually elsewhere. (3x £2.99 = £8.97.)

But on the sightings front - I did see "Rollout Command Optimus Prime" in the window of Toymaster in Whitby on Saturday. Karl

And I've got more Universe than my nearest branch. They've got a cheek, mind, highlighting their relatively costly triple pack with "great value" and " only £8.99". (Emphasis added.)

Oh, I assumed you were using Astronomical Units. How big is an AU anyway? About as big as the average distance from the Earth to its star. About 150 million klicks or thereabouts. Karl

Is a klick the same as a kilometre? What a handy little abbreviation.
Still no Universe in Toys'r'us as of Sunday apart from the legends and a new wave of Robot Heroes featuring (if I'm remembering right) Cheetor and Blackarachnia, Rattrap and Megatron, Hound and Blitzwing and [edit:checked the Case Assortments thread- thanks Nigel] Sunstreaker and Galvatron. Fantastically they are £1 more than the previous waves of Robot Heroes on the pegs above them.

Does that mean that TRU are selling URH above the SRP at £6.99 or that the earlier RH are being sold £1 less than the SRP at £4.99?
I've just been looking at them. I can't decide if my favourite in the wave is Rattrap, Sunstreaker or Hound. Bonus points to the Galvatron sculptor for a face that I think looks just a little reminiscent of Nimoy. (And also a little bit Charles Bronson.)

Ta.
Nigel- the movie-line Robot Heroes were all 4.99, like the Star Wars Galactic Heroes. The Spider-man 3 ones were the first we did at 5.99, with the Marvel, Indy and now TF Universe ones following suit. As far as I know the Star Wars ones are still a fiver. But then, somebody at Toys'r'us obviously really likes Star Wars as they are the only line we'd ever consider doing midnight openings for!

The SRP for all of them is £5.99, though I've noticed some shops have been selling them cheaper, especially the Star Wars. I think Asda has Galactic Heroes for about £4. Hmm, I don't remember if Galactic Heroes were originally £4.99, when the line first came out.
