Smyths also have considerable form for listing things they never receive!

A picture of a toy from a wave they dont end up stocking is one thing, but have they put up a completely one off item like Computron and then not stocked it?

It will be a good thing indeed if Scrounge is heading for UK shelves!

They've given an estimated date for arrival as well. Normally it says 'coming soon' or tells you to check in store for their phantom website listings.

Either Kapow have suddenly sold through every size of Wave 4 TR at once or they've yanked them from sale because they're about to receive stock.......

I would think last week of Jan would be right, which would mean US retail by the end of Feb. That TF at the Moon list said Jan for the next Generations dump too.

Wonder if I've got enough ID points to bring that down a bit. For £29 I think I would probably stretch to the extra tenner for the Tak one.
This toy just doesn't want to be mine.

Very reasonable price, especially in this new era of £23 deluxes.

The small print suggests Silverbolt, the picture and the rest of the text is confusing.

At those prices the Tiny Turbo Changers will sell like hotcakes. The rest of the line will die. Expect them to be in the discount chain by the Autumn.

Deluxes for £25? Fucking hell!!! -Ralph Man, it doesnt look like a £25 figure does it. But apparently the deluxes will come in a box now, to help justify the price (though they've sort of backpedalled on that for Star Wars havnt they?)

Yeah, but that's a special case. If they put Transformers in '84 style packaging we would lose our minds and pay over the odds too.
Sad how the exchange rate has killed the old "it's the same figure in pounds as it is in dollars" outrage. Now it seems $30 is £33. Leader Megs will be at least £60.
I need a Dinobot to see how 'premium' the finish is.

Now I've thought that I'm sad it isn't real.
Imagine if the TR figures came in facsimile boxes with a premium finish.
I'd pay £25 for that instead of the £18 or so they are at the moment.

I don't think I would. £7 for a load if cardboard which is just going to go into the recycling within a week of being bought? Nope, not worth the extra money to me. (And deluxes at £18 already reduce my likelihood of buying significantly as it is. £25 would be an even bigger barrier to purchase for me)

When deluxes hit £16 I slowed down my purchasing. Too expensive for what they are. I wait for sales.

I've always wondered why they haven't done this - retailer shelf space display requirements or something? The packaging of the original toys was part of why they were so successful.
