There was none in the Kilmarnock Poundland, but that is tiny and never has the cool stuff.

I'll keep an eye out for the Fastlane KO. It's not quite as good, but 'It's for Boys' comic comes with a Legends Starscream KO this month. Click here for cover

Oh lordy lordy that's dreadful. But a superb match for the Rainbow Flipchangers of a few years back.

How are they getting away with that? I recall there was a KO Prime around this time last year with Toxic.

How are they getting away with that? There are several possibilities:- A) Hasbro don't know it exists at all B) Hasbo don't think it is hitting them in the market share enough to go after the manufacturer. C) Hasbro don't feel it is worth the various costs in tracking down the manufacturer to serve them with legal papers. D) Hasbro can't find the manufacturer to serve them with legal papers E) Hasbro can find the manufacturer but it is located in a country which doesn't recognise the various conventions on Intellectual Property and therefore can't make legal papers stick on the manufacturer. The publisher of the comic in question have a "good faith" defense. They just bought a load of cheap toys of various kinds as a job lot to use as cover-mounts in a bulk transaction. It isn't them infringing on Tomy/Hasbro/Studio IP, it is the company that made it - which in turn protects itself by a combination of stealth, moving-targetness and living outside the reach of IP law. Karl.

Thanks for the info. I like point C) especially. Legends Starscream aside from principle cant be worth the fuss.

I feel that the knockoff sightings thread should be full of fake sightings.

No, it's a KO of Terminus Hexatron, a 3P toy.
I thought we'd mentioned it before but obviously not.#

I wasn't sure how close it was to Sixshot 3rd party so just posted it in knockoff. but it is really cheaply made - if you shake the box the wheels move

I could pick it up today for £9 - but really don't want to pay more than £5 because I think it'll fall apart

Saw this in B&M this afternoon. Doesn't look any worse than any other Knockoff. I looks about the same build quality as the two-pack of movie deluxe KOs that is a winter fixture in B&M. (It also includes KO versions of the oversized meat-cleavers that the illegal version has).
(Aaaannnd now it has just occurred to me that this is a rare case where there are genuinely three-parties involved in this situation. First Party, the IP owner (Hasbro), Second Party, the folk who stole the IP for their toy (whichever company made Hexatron), and Third Party, the company that stole it from the second part (whichever company made the KO). On a semantic level this does amuse me somewhat. )

For that reason alone I nearly picked it up this morning.
On the whole it looked like an average quality ko, doesnt seem to have been simplified, at least not obviously so is probably a decent buy for £10. The wheels on the arms really do rattle though.
I wasn't impressed by pictures of not-sixshot, but always kind of liked not greatshot and in black it also looks good. I see me buying this in a moment of weakness.

'Tis the season for weird imports. B&M were also selling those weird NewIsland Dinobots Robot Blasters for £14.99 each, as well as a 'Transformable Mech Droids' boxset (I may be mistaken with the name - I was only interested in not-SixShot). The boxset contained 6 Movie-line knock-offs, including simplified (or possibly oversized) versions of Prime, Megatron and Ratchet.

I spotted some rather large KO Combiner Wars figures when I was in B&M earlier. They are approx Leader class sized, and they only had the three variants. If these are the size of the limbs, I am curious to see the size of the torso.
