The back of the box only had a drawing of them combined. My local B&M is rather small compared to every other one i have been in, so maybe the torso's have appeared in larger stores.

That is disappointing to read that only 3 of them have been made. Some of us were looking forward to the possibility of a giant, crazy coloured Defensor. It's sad that won't be the case.

The combiner peg doesn't do anything. It is a hollow piece that is just there as display. IF a torso is released, and it does combine, there won't be any arm or leg articulation. The arms have no bicep swivel, so essentially the arms are stuck in jazz hands position. Also no hulk hand compatibility.   Queen Stodge on twitter shared a video of some guy reviewing them. |

Giant KO Combiner Wars Hot Spot in B&M this weekend. He has hilarious, wonderful, G2-esque colours and is sized pretty much as a 2up of the original toy. He also comes with his ladder as a separate part, but he does have both of Hot Spots carbines. Amusingly the shelftag identifies him as being called "Big Power Ranger"!
(The double-pack of the modified Classics Inferno and the police car robot that combine to form Firenado are there as well in the two for twenty sale. Sadly their helicopter/jet buddies weren't. Just a big wall of Firenado).

Exciting new pound shop opened up today!   There were about a dozen boxes each with a different combination on the box (there was uh, Optimus Prime/Wolverine, one with Hound, Shockwave, Wheeljack and Waspinator, though inside it seems more random (my box had a Deadpool but also a Starscream. However the boxes are unsealed so there may have been shenanigans! No comic book adventure though  |
