Even better than those my local poundland had crazy multicoloured mini Machine wars jet 2 packs. Utterly amazing in their colours and cheapness.

apparently there's 2 different sets of these floating around on the same cards - some have the parts for arm combination, some don't. mine dont have the parts (like hands/feet etc) but 2 have got fold out connectors That's what I meant - some have the fold out connector moulded as part of the toy. Must go to Poundland.....

No I've seen them twice this week and both times nearly picked them up. But even at £1 the clear crappness of the build quality is putting me off. Having had a closer look today I realised that both the MW moulds are present though much simplified. Each has red, blue, yellow and green plastic parts with a little (badly) applied silver paint. If I see them again tomorrow I might cave and get a set. Andy

Wonder if the MW jets are better than the crappy dark green one I got double-packed with an oversized minicon helicopter guy... He's had the hips/shoulders simplified so that the transformation is just to fold him in half.

Sounds like the same version just a different size. Shoulders sound the same anyway. The oversized KO Poundland had a few years back was the best version I've seen.

Still need the Megatron head jet from those.
There was a reasonable quality but poorly coloured standard sized set a while after which included the superb red Wrecker Hook.

I've got one of the KO Combaticon 2 packs but in different packaging. I also have some KO Cyberjets (I think) in TF Animated style card.
I found these in Poundland in Broadmead, Bristol
Will try and get a pic going.

I'm off to the seaside next week
Seaside means tat shops
Tat shops mean KO TFs
What will I find ?

Poundland in High Wycombe only has the crappy Cyberjet/Machine Wars jets, no combiners.

Are those jets any use at all Glaug? Even for a pound?

I have one of them from a differently packaged set with what feels like an oversized minicon... Plastic's so cheap the head broke off mine while I was transforming it, limbs might be usable for customs fodder or something. But due to the simplified Transformation they feel flimsy overall and look a bit funny in robot mode.

Lord above the KO situation in Minehead was p!$$ poor despite there being lots of shops selling tat. I saw some old friends though - the Alien Terminator TFCybertron legends (the lion one) a single older KO Prowl and a pile of Alien Terminator labelled KO RM Jets - Flipchangers and R-Blade - which were quite the worst RM KO's I'd ever seen - with R-Blade extensively remoulded so the arms are alongside the engines in Jet mode. All were packed with a Helicopter made using the arms of a KO'd Cybertron Minicon Overcast as mentioned here

Finally found the combaticons today..... .....and a new KO Recolour Horror - The Vanguard Fighters. philstfreviews.site11.com/pictures/VF1.jpgYeah OK, maybe I should have warned you. It's our old friends the Flipchanger jets again. Packaging is animated with an Armada Starscream with Supercon Op's head. Colour choice is as you can see ...... interesting philstfreviews.site11.com/pictures/VF2.jpgTurned both into jets without any fall apartage and in this mode they look reasonably like the real thing, bar the ccolours. However..... philstfreviews.site11.com/pictures/VF3.jpgheads are moulded to the body, the shoulders are too low, the Flipchanger mechanism is gone, there's no gun or fist holes. But all the ball joints turn which beats some KOs of these I've seen. But the important thing here is the colours. My eyes, my eyes .....

Remolds of the flipchanger jets no less, making a full generational leap backwards in the technology of their alt-modes.
They are impressively bright though. Sunglasses are probably called for....
