Happy Birthday to Mark, Mewshkin and anyone else who's day of birth it is/has been recently!
In for first of 2 night shifts. Spent today tryin' to teach Piglet to say 'Megatron'. Early on she got to "Megichew", and later in the day it become "Megadog". Bless!

Week 1 2008 has landed me with the flu, which has knocked me for 6 and has given me some freaky dreams this week.

Oh no! Another victim of the Space Lurgy.
I am down to just an occassional runny nose now. I predict full recovery just in time for Monday morning when Uni stuff starts up again. Sigh. What a wasted holiday.
Talking of dreams, the ones I had last night were downright bizarre.

It certainly is the season for Space Bugs of all types. Hope swift recovery to all sufferers.

Yes. Yes indeed. And can I recommend Sudafed, the king of placebo effect over-the-counter generic Space Lurgey cure-alls? I wish I'd had this stuff weeks ago. I don't know what's in it that fools my mind into thinking I'm better, but it works.

And so we enter "The Dead Zone", the part of a night shift where your brain just wants to jump outa your head and fall asleep somewhere. Starts between half 2 and half 3am. 'Tis 'bout now, though, that one starts playing with the drunk little boys and girls. Smegheads. Getting paid for it at least.

Been sleeping nearly all day from an all night battle with dental pain. It is not so much the tooth but my temple on the same side where the nerves are connected to.

Dental pain during the night is not a funny business.

Hope you improve soon Hero.
2nd night shift tonight. Slept ok during day, but not great, so feelin' alittle bit grogy, but not too bad. MP Megatron should arrive early next week, so nothing can get me down at the mo! Don't worry, my hopes aren't up that much, I know he's not perfect. But still, I eagerly await the comming of my Dark Lord!

Oh, and today in 'Teach your 18 month old to say Megatron' leasons, little Piglet's managed "Mogi-mogi-mogi-mogi". She does actually have a few books starring a character called Mog the Cat, so she may have been reffering to that, can't be sure.

When MP Megs arrives, you could just point at it whenever you say 'Megatron'. That might help.

Might help. Although knowing kids it is just as likely she will get as far as "Megadum" and stop there quite contentedly.

I'll try it, although I'm planning to keep Megs as far from 'The Destructor' as possible!

Week 1. 3 days at work. Didn't feel great and work was a bit of a struggle. Quite a nice stay at the hostel met one researcher from New Orleans researching Irish soldiers in the Spanish civil war and another reasercher from Malaysia looking at geology conservation.
Gotten worse over the weekend had stomach cramp all last night and again tonight. So no work tomorrow.

I wish good health for everyone!
Since the release of the Live-action movie, my little brother can name all of the 'bots as well as recognise their G1 counterparts, which i'm pretty proud of since he has no interest in TF in the slightest.

No, neither do I. Maybe he's got some kind of special time travel abilities where he can go back to a certain point in time so he can post messages on the Hub.

No, neither do I. Maybe he's got some kind of special time travel abilities where he can go back to a certain point in time so he can post messages on the Hub. That might mean that somewhere on the Hub there is a rift in space and time. A worrying thought. Who knows what might wash up out of such a phenomenon..... Karl
