Interesting that for the last two weeks Transmissions have had nothing from their mole. The inference has been this is because Hasbro are clamping down, not that there's nothing to say.

Well, as I said, I've always imagined that these leaks are at Hasbro's discretion. The moment they decide they don't like them, they stop. It's not like it should be that hard for them to work out who it is!!

I find it somewhat implausible that a multinational shareholder-responsible corporation would choose to let out confidential product information in such a way. That isn't even remotely realistic.

Orson's World was a communicated attempt from Hasbro to Speak To The Fans. It was cackhanded but it was a proper attempt in the social media formats of the time.
Hasbro does not give out information via 'anonymous leaks' via podcasts and the like. They have to answer to shareholders.

I'd be kind of surprised if they worked directly for Hasbro.
All the info seems to come from people who see presentations like the kind at Botcon, but way way earlier.
Maybe something to do with marketing or buyers from Walmart, TRU etc. Either way its probably the kind of stuff Hasbro has to do and can't do much to stop someone talking about it afterwards.

People privy to those kinds of presentations typically sign confidentiality agreements, which holds them legally responcible if Hasbro can prove they're the leak. Hasbro can sue them for breach of contract, if they can find them.
I'm in the camp that the leaks being Hasbro's doing on purpose is tenuous logic at best.
Orson's World was official, even when Orson was anonymous. And he only gave HINTS about upcoming things ("Melee weapons are going to be a big thing!" a hint he gave about Energon), not telling every detail about the next three waves of a barely revealed line.
Thanks to this leak, we know at least half if not more, of 2017.

Didn't do a Botcon post for Legends!
Actually I'll be surprised if we see anything new for Legends at Botcon. we're two waves in the future as it is. The only thing we didn't see at Toyfair, Ravage, we saw in Australia.
I'd love to predict Brawn and Gnaw again but I'm lacking faith. Frenzy and Eject are obvious repaints.
