It's good to have options for a G1 Optimus Prime in the 40th anniversary year. I'm losing count of them! -Ralph 1) Missing Link Toy Colours 2) Missing Link Cartoon Colours 3) Retro Reissue 4) United Deluxe 5) Studio Series 86 Commander

In terms of a toy released with the 40th branding, has there been anyone other than Optimus?

Oh, those screws on the side of the trailer do not look good.

Not sure about the shrunk tech specs either. That has been a given on such releases for many years now, alas. -Ralph

I kind of think that the pros and cons of the trailer on this release kind of cancel themselves out.
On the one hand, they have gone to the trouble to remake the 40 year old trailer with most of the original play features intact. On the other hand they have given it a much blander deco than the original, without the stickers that gave it visual interest.
