In which case, if these Japanese blog posts are hinting at 5.0 it does suggest FunPub will be able to fulfil orders in 2017, because if they take the money as usual late summer/autumn and then deliver the toys spring 2017, that will take them past the December 16th cut off date that has been talked about. Either that or they're going to try and squeeze even more money out of their customer base and get another TFSS round in before the end of 2016? surely not.

Based on that group photo it looks like they have 4.0 in stock so could be posting any time now. Preorders for 5.0 could be as early as may while the last couple of 4.0 are shipping. Then ship out 5.0 two per month october - December. Or something along those lines.
If the clubs ending and they already have 5.0 approved its their last pay day so theyll get it out in time somehow.

That could be a great thing - four or five more Diaclone cars and Inferno, or maybe the RiD suggestion we came up with on here. I'd be excited about either of those. But you can be sure based on the obscurity of thunder mayhem and Tripredacus that it would be something equally wacky.

To meet that schedule they'd also have to forego the cost cutting of shipping over the Botcon figures at the same time as the sub service ones.
Still, more evidence fun pub is on the way out.
It would be really good if in future Hasbro dealt with all of the exclusives because they could factor in things fun pub clearly can't do, like the more prominent characters they always keep away from fun pub, and extending retail sets by making the exclusives fit with them (such as additional Diaclone car limbs). It'd make the bigger picture more coherent.

Botcon toys could already have been sent with tfss ones. Or be on their way with them. It's only 13 or 14 weeks till the con so not that early for them to be on the way.

I tell you I don't regret MMC Spartan as Hasbro couldn't have done a better job than that, but this Impactor is better than any repaint has a right to be.

Combined mode looks silly, buying an extra Silverbolt or Cyclonus and doing a head swap to make a proper Thunderwing. Will figure out something for Bludgeon.

Agreed, if hasbro ever make one it needs to be voyager, but at least rook is bigish for a modern deluxe. Put in the right line up he'll look great. Generations roadbuster as the giant muscle and whirl as the lanky nutjob. Botcon springer (or gdo springer), generations Kup, foc twintwist and topspin and Impactor. Pretty nice Wreckers line up there. |

I think the GDO Springer is a wee bit too flimsy to be Springer. But yeah, that is a solid Wreckers line up.
Once I get my TFSS Impactor I will likely sell on my Spartan. I don't have the space and official always trumps 3rd party with me.
