An idea whose time has come, the James Roberts and Lloyd Young interviews: thesolarpool.weebly.com/addendum-11.htmlI am not a mental after all! What does make me look mental is me pointing at thin air in the video I made to promote the interview where onscreen captions were supposed to go (they show up fine in the YouTube video editor but the actual playback tasks me, aye it tasks me): www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHr-E-aHf9w

I have some original art including covers from the black and white era. Really must get them scanned by Andu and passed on.

I think James would be well up for that, and the only thing that might stop their inclusion would be space issues (and either way, the worst thing you'd have to deal with is him throwing money at you to try and buy them for his own collection).

I've just read the interview & I cant wait to see this one released next year. Its to find out what was planned for #213 but was dropped. So this was the time when the budget for the UK comic no longer covered new coloured stories (from #215). But I'll wait for the book to come out so no asking James. then V8 for Earthforce & also sounds like we have lots more stuff.

Was wondering when the next one of these was coming out! Looking forward to it. Shame it's not 'till next year though.

Work proceeds on the first print collection of Stuart's writings. Here is one of the illustrations I have done to accompany the book. Andy

Midway through the second last illustration (letting ink dry before I do the last stage).
Might do a wee set of postcards or A4 prints to go with the book, time permitting.

As well as The Book, those following me on twitter may have noticed me subtly trailing the fact I'm going to be exactly half way through the comic's run this week (the daily photoshop jobs I'm doing are incredibly amateurish and hugely fun to do). Expect cake.

Psssst. My proof copy is ordered. It should take about a week to print/arrive. If it's not monstrously evil, it should "Go live" immediately afterwards (bar any "In hand" last second revisions).
EDIT: The price will probably work out at £15 (or, with the cheapest UK option taken into account, £18. Though you can pay more if you want it delivered faster!).
Anyone going to Auto Assembly who wants me to bring them a copy can get it for a tenner (which is basically what I pay for it myself, again including the postage). Very nearly half the cost! You can buy two! Just let me know via here/twitter. I'll probably cap the amount I take with me to something I can carry on the train without dying, probably 12.

All being well, I should be looking to put the sale link live either in less than two weeks, ideally next Friday so as to connect with the blog, but that depends on when the proof arrives/what changes do or don't need making.

The proof copy has arrived! The cover does need slight re-jigging (due to Lulu's stated dimensions for the books size not being the same as the actual book size, not because Andy is out to sabotage me for my ReGeneration One comments. Luckily the interior all looks fine and hasn't been affected), but once that's done it'll be all ready for sale, should be on track to make the link live some time on or after next Friday.
