Depends if he hit the novelization while peeing.
Oh, I see...

I wouldn't Andy. It's a huge book and you must have proof read it very quickly to turn it around before AA. If that's the only layout error then you've done a brilliant job. It all looks great. Nah, that's a bloody stupid mistake, as the columns had to be moved into place, so it's entirely something I did, probably when we were adjusting the pagination. Really annoyed at it. Andy

It'll survive either way. The important thing is, the book is 999999999999.99% the dog's bollocks.
Which will also be a cover quote.

A new lulu code valid till the end of the day (17th August), GWW25, will get you 25% of the cover price.
Don't worry, I'm not going to spam the thread with these, but the odd one might be helpful rather than annoying.

And now on British and American Amazon! Though I'm not sure why the former is showing it as out of stock when they both have to get their copies from Lulu as they're printed. thesolarpool.weebly.com/book-shop.html

Thanks Ralph.
The Book is now also on Barnes and Noble and German (and no doubt the others) Amazon. No matter where you are in the world, it's basically impossible not to buy a copy! A lot of links to add to my book shop page...

I think it's getting from International to the hotel that'll be the real fun part. Philip has pointed on that on page 256 the two columns are the wrong way round, just in case anyone thought I was being especially existential there. That's probably the number one mistake I should have spotted. Based on comments, I think 98% of the people who have bought so far are in this thread-- so thank you all! 254 too I think :-( There's also a text gap on 248. I can spot two recurring problems with paragraphs: the paragraph is either not indented or has the full stop, intended for the end of the previous paragraph, at the start of the next line.

I was very pleased with how this went down at AA, I took 20 with me and only brought five back (which pleasingly is exactly the right amount to send off to a few other people who want/are owed copies).
I keep trying to add up who I actually sold/gave copies to and can't add it up to 15, so I must have gotten rid of some whilst very jolly. Or room service helped themselves. But who can blame them?
Thanks to everyone who both bought/swapped and indulged my ego by letting me sign a copy. After all these years of having stuff signed by them it was a buzz to do the reverse for Furman/Roberts/Roche, and indeed everyone else.

I shan't enter said quiz formally, but I will of course have to do the questions.

Well done on reaching the end of 1988! I think the next year on the blog will be fascinating as we approach the era of the comic less discussed on the tinterwebs.

Lucky really, I couldn't have afforded three winners.
I'm sure Marvel UK only printed Universe right at the end of the year just to add to my workload last week. By the end of Friday I was so stressed I was ready to punch anyone involved with Transformers comics in the face.
And then on Saturday I met James Roberts.
Luckily I was more cheerful by then.
I'm trying not to think about being just under six months from having to start on The Book 2...

I had not noticed the shadow thing before either! And I've scanned the thing multiple time and seen the original pencils. So obvious now it's been pointed out!
Dan Reed PMOP drawing is from Dreadwing Down story in the 89 Annual.

Now then Mr Inflatable. I have been reading an entry a week from Transformation Volume One alongside re-reading the 332 on their 30th anniversary dates - and this week is the 30th birthday of issue 112. So you know what I'm going to ask here don't you... where's Volume Two? Volume One has been by my bedside since you published it... but I now need the next one!

The core of book 2 is in the hands of Mr Denyer for him to give it a going over. Then it goes to the redoubtable Mr Turnbull for his slinky magic (he's also contributing a "Nel Yomtov ROCKS" piece). All being well it should be out by TFN...

That silhouette makes it look like Grimlock's chest reflects the shape of his face! Never noticed that before. And the un-silhouetted version makes it look like other design cues are shared, like the vents at the sides.
