No, I think that was meant to be in the thread where there was chat about Nativity 2. Filmation Chrimbo special is grand. Thank goodness. I was confused too. I would never send anyone a Nativity film.

I thought he was, but you watching it proved he wasn't. It's QII he's in. Confirmed recently when I was listening to a Radio 3 doc on Quatermass and Matthew Sweet mentioned it.

My mind has just been blown. I had no idea that The Box of Delights, a childhood favourite and often a Christmas re-watch or re-read for me, is actually a sequel to an earlier novel. I am rectifying this situation. Midnight Folk book bought, along with Roger Limb's soundtrack to the Box of Delights on CD to accompany reading, and I also listened to the 1966 BBC Radio adaptation of Box of Delights yesterday.

He-Man/She-Ra Chrimbo special got its annual viewing.
Jingle all the Way was also watched and a few radio Chrimbo episodes of Hancock's Half-Hour.

Given we now know Doctor Who will not be on Christmas Day and the offerings for the day look to be staggering a little under the veil of covid, I am wondering if I can replicate a Christmas Day from the past instead by finding the right shows. This handy dandy website has the Christmas week listings for many years gone by: ukchristmastv.weebly.com/I'm going to give this some thought. The BBC's big film Christmas night 1980 was Airport 75. Tempting, but can I find the Mike Yarwood Christmas special that goes before it?

I generally went to see most animation when I had the Cineworld card. I saw the poster for Frozen and was put off by everyone having exactly the same face. So I avoided it.
Later, a Frozen short cartoon was in front of another film. It was crap. And everyone had the same face.

It's adequate.
The two main leads are sisters (not twins, I don't think) so them having the same face is acceptable in this. But generally Disney's Pixar films have tended towards giving all the princesses the same face and art style. I saw a still from Wreck It Ralph 2 yesterday that really bought that home for me.

Yes Minster is superb; that one I have on DVD. It's a pity the Open All Hours DVDs don't have the Christmas short episode from 1982, that only seems to exist as a dodgy Youtube upload:

Make it so!
(I've been tickled by the fact that ITV3 are doing a Carry On marathon, punctuated by two On The Buses films in the middle of the night).
