Hmmm. Well, I could order a ticket but it would run the risk that it arrives after I've gone away that week and have to buy another one on the door! Ooh. Unless anyone who's going to be around at all in London on the Friday would be willing for me to have my tickets sent to their address so that I can pick them up some time that day?

Also bring along your e-mail printout from the site too just in case you don't get your ticket - they can check your order id on it. I'm bringing mine along but should have the tickets in the post in next 2 weeks.
Does seem some confusion on SM forums.
Normally its TV stars who charge for autographs & comic guest [artist] who charge for sketches. Hopefully this'll be normal at the event - so then anyone wanting Larry Hama to draw Gijoe stuff which he was down starting out doing art work. Jose Delbo is in his 80's going by the main page - that he started doing TF work in his 50's. He's humans artwork is so amazing - I know we have read the complaints re his robots - but he is amazing at humans.

re post about getting Larry to sign Transformers comics - we can if its the UK comic reprinting Gijoe issue in backup - but if you have the first issue open around the Gijoe strip so Larry would see that it contains a reprint of his work.

Yeah, that'd be a neat idea (as was the Reg 100 one). For me though, the Vault is where my Transformers related signatures go and I must have about 60 in there by now, it'd be nice to add Hama to that collection and I would be surprised if he did object (though of course, that would be entirely his prerogative), I don't think I've ever seen a comic guest at any event ever be less than gracious about the things put in front of them (and I've seen some very strange things offered up for signatures over the years). In terms of taking things with me, hopefully it'll be the Vault and one Titan hardback for Bob to sign (because he is such a big deal, though as I'm undecided yet as to which one would be most appropiate if I do go for one Delbo worked on I may ask him to sign that as well), much less stressful than what I used to do in the old days of lugging a massive bag about with multiple things for everyone to sign in.

You can have a reason for him doing the Vault - just say G2 Megatron & that'll cover it. I'd go for Ult Guide or Vault for Jose to sign which ever you have with you seeing both have US stuff in.

I've seen the Panini comics ad & is really TF event heavy
also the extra people on the ad who are not stated on site. Herb Trimpe TF artist Kev Hopgood TF artist John Royle UK artist & Simon Nick Lee are listed too.

They are slightly & slowly updating the website now.
I hope Nick is going to get mad with them getting his name wrong. Currently up with 3 spellings Roache Roche Roach. It's easy to remember - no A in Roche because the A is on his art for Amazing.

I've altered my hotel booking to another hotel which is £25 cheaper but be paying £2 more on travel - but I'm 10 mins closer to Victoria station & don't have to travel round on the underground with my case on the sunday waiting for Nation Express at 14:00 & also check out time is 12:30 instead of 10:00. So that free ups some money to see what the comic they are offering for the event.
Has been stated Transformers comic - but remember that no UK event are allowed to do a Transformers comic for an event because Hasbro say so (apart from London super con which did one after Hasbro had but the block on it but all other comic con in the US are allowed to do comic covers for their events)

Looks like I got in just in time with my tickets order. I will actually be there both days, but probably doing the Transformerey thing on Saturday and the hanging-around with-a-female-friend-of-mine-who-reeeeeeaaaallly-wants-to-meet-Katee-Sackhoff on the Sunday.
I may also perv quietly in the direction of Lalla Ward on the Sunday as well.

I believe the local crowd will be attempting entrance on the saturday and will probably be around all day. I'll be at work on Friday, dunno if any of the others are free or leaving it until the saturday.

Oh well, hope to bump into some of you on Saturday. Looking forward to the novelty of it, albeit with some trepidation as to the crowds. Martin

I haven't been able to get a ticket in advance, but should still be going and will arrive early and hope for the best queue-wise.
Does anyone know anything time-table-wise about it? i.e. will the pros be at tables to sign stuff from quite early on or will I have to kill a lot of time if I'm in early?
