Or rather a chopped up version of it padded by celebrity commentary and bits of other shows. Why couldn't they just PLAY THE EPISODE? Martin

Magic. TV restoration is always something to be excited about. The C5 documentary showed most of the sketches from the episode but seeing it in colour will be cool.

That is quite something. 94 discs! Can you imagine being the person who had to master all those menus & discs for pressing. I'd have gone insane. Surely no one would watch all of that.

In both interviews they talk about a film collector's event happening at the end of the month, the panels from which will be streamed on the net. They said they will be announcing some finds there that may include TV (not who).

"All were recorded on domestic 405-line reel-to-reel tape for a member of the cast to view"
In 1968! Off air recordings! Bloody hell fire, why did no one do that with Who?!

I believe there's some uncertainty about the UK versions of Fraggle Rock: the archive for the ITV region that made it, TVS iirc, is now in private hands. TVS also made Number 73 (Hey up!) and I believe loads of them are gone along with other Saturday morning kids shows Now This is interesting: www.youtube.com/@madeinmaidstone-xt5tn/videosLooks like someone has got access to a large number of TVS mastertapes and has been uploading them to YouTube. The TVS archive has been MIA for some years now and there are several missing items in here including some early appearances by Sophie Aldred and the earliest local only episodes of Pinwig's favourite show.....

Just downloaded the no.73
What I remember is probably from the later series, but I likely watched the earlier ones too. Should be facinating. At the very least theres a live performance of Come on Eileen.
