I've just read Iron Man #6 and that panel is pretty much it, though clearly setting him up for a larger role.
I'm not keen on the slight face redesign - the animal skull look is both a bit generic and a bit reminiscent of Minion, where the classic face was really quite distinctive.
Overall I quite enjoyed the issue after having been underwhelmed by #1 and not picking it up again until now. I quite like the new armour design - probably the most unique in quite some time - and Land's art shows some imagination. It's not on the level of Aaron's Thor, but it's not bad and certainly a perfectly fine place for our favourite, ah, freelance peacekeeping agent to show up.

Death's Head is going to be in Iron Man for a few issues. A couple more bit part appearances in the next couple of issues, then you'll see more of him.

He's back again in the latest this week, which is quite a good, fun read. It certainly pushes the nostalgia buttons for Transformers UK readers with a character who is nodding to the Hercules back-ups.

Oh, I'd forgotten about this. Read about it while I was on holiday and mentally filed it away. There's a good interview with Andy Lanning at CBR: www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=46899I'm excited! I quite liked some of that Marvel UK stuff despite my distaste at what they did to Death's Head. This could be interesting. I just hope they don't go down the old "noone remembers/likes these characters so let's do a bloodbath" route. -Jim

I just want one panel where the original Death's Head turns up and twats Death's Head II. That would make me very happy.

Nick on the original Deaths Head I have no trouble picturing, but I cant quite imagine what DH2 will look like. Looking forward to finding out though.

While I like Death's Head, and I am excited to see more work by Nick, I can't stand Death's Head II and don't understand why the character exists at all ("This british character is popular! Let's launch him in the US but change literally everything about him!") I look forward to having my mind changed, I guess!

I enjoyed DH2 back in the mid 90s so am quite interested in this, but even back then I would have preferred to be reading the original DH character in those stories. I was probably always hoping DH would find a way to untangle his personality and return to his original form.

With the original DH back in the Marvel Universe of late, I can cope with the other one running around too (though I do massively prefer the original). I also hope all this new DH activity leads to decent reprints of the older material.
Nice to see Mr Roche get a Marvel gig.

We have never seen Minion take out all his 106 targets & he did travel in time so could turn up to kill some characters in the current Marvel comics. Who the first target was?

I was probably always hoping DH would find a way to untangle his personality and return to his original form. I remember in Death's Head Gold (one of the last things put out), something happened and the original personality started to assert itself. The next part never came out so I'm not sure if there would have been any lasting effects.
