Well, DH has only got a few seconds of ammunition for that minigun by the looks of it. So it is a lot of bullets at once, for a very short time and then very few bullets for a somewhat longer time...

Page count is very close to the sum of the two Panini DH volumes. I thought the price a little high but it's in line with the Epic series.

If this is the old stuff then let us hope for a decent presentation of the strips. I did not buy the Pannini volumes due to the piss-poor repro.

quick look shows it's written by Steve Parkhouse, not Furman. Maybe don't want to split the royalties?

More likely a rights issue as #8 features Doctor Who. Annoyed greatly if it is skipped.
DW also features in The Incomplete Death's Head: the original pages of which are also skipped as is DH's appearance in the Doctor Who Magazine strip.

Not for me as the repro quality in the Panini books is shocking. Luckily, I have the original issues!

Death's Head 1 out today

Finally read it today.
Enjoyable fun as a DH book should be, points off Marvel for giving credit to some random for the Death's Head logo when it's clearly the Richard Starkings logo digitally recreated with at best minor differences.

Eh? I thought it was the same logo.
I have not been able to find a copy of #1. Unsure if I should order a copy mail order or wait for the trade.

My decision to go back to paper and preorder the book from FP means it’s still not here. Monday I hope.

Back when 55p for a comic was expensive!

When I started buying regularly, new US imports were 55p from the comic shop and 40p when they turned up at the newsagent 2 months later.

I remember when they were 30p! The Marvel UK US format titles were some of the most expensive comics on newsstands at the time. I had to ask for extra pocket money to get them!

Isn't issue 2 out today? Why isn't it on Comixology? I don't know about digital but physical comics will be a day late this week in England due to the bank holiday. -Ralph
