Blimey if they are the same that's Arcee/Chromia levels of remoulding. They look different to me, but either way the new one is a vast improvement I think.
It's interesting that warriors and deluxes sell for the same price in the US. They're definitely different here. Warriors started at £15 and CW deluxes at £16. But if the TR ones are $20 then they're going to be at least £20 here aren't they...
So with TFS Express selling the Takara ones for £21 they could even end up cheaper than the Hasbro ones in Asda!
What is going on!

I'm still not convinced but will be happy to admit I'm wrong when I have it in hand.

It does seem to generally be the case that it is a matter of "Take the US price, ignore the exchange rate, remove USD sign and replace with GBP sign. Job done."... Mind you, round here they aren't going to show up anywhere other than Smyths and Argos anyway, so the question is less what the RRP is and what Smyths decide they are going to charge for them so far as Falkirk is concerned. Isnt Nurid Windblade warrior class? I'm sure I read it'll be the same mold for Titan Windblade. I could be wrong, I know a lot less about this stuff than you guys.

Same fan, same sword, same sheath (both attach the same way to both modes), same biceps, same hip pieces, same thighs, same feet, and I believe it's the same stomach. that's just what I can see.
Edit: I was wrong about the hips and thighs. Got wires crossed with Slipstream. It does also look like they took out some moving parts. Looks like her hands are one piece with the new forearms.

Though both range anywhere between $14 and $16.

The fans definitely different (at least retooled) to Gen Windblade. Gen Windblade has a cross that quarters off the fan blades whereas Warrior Windblade is one continuous circle. It also looks set closer to the end of the wing than Gen Windblade.

Jetty, I've mirrored the pictures you linked to and added them to your post on the previous page. I must be losing the plot. I can't see any shared parts there at all. That doesn't look like a remould to me. But then as said, there have been some pretty extreme remoulds recently. Interesting!

Nice looking figure. I may have to get that. Or wait for the inevitable G1 homage repaint from Takara...

There's something very Blot about his robot mode....
The head can also, be folded out the front of the car in vehicle mode too!

So having bought RiD Windblade yesterday I can't say I can see anything shared with the Generations one. They're completely different. RiD one has different proportions - shorter body and longer legs. No parts are the same.
I think the RiD one is much better. Bolder design and simpler. The head has fantastic detail for this line. If they'd done the RiD figures like this from the start, the line might have got more attention from the hardcore fans.
If they don't do a blizzard camo repaint I may be forced to try and custom one.

Sword & sheath were the two we were unsure about from photos. Sheath looked modified, but similar.

Very VERY similar, but they aren't the same. At least the sheaths aren't. My Gen Windblade is not opened. The RiD sheath is the same length but wider, and has different detailing on it. It's like they used the CAD model from the Generations one and stretched it a bit to widen it, but it's not the same mould. The hilts of the sword do look identical, although the RiD one is unpainted matt black plastic, unlike the Gen one which is gloss black on transparent plastic to make the fan in the pommel see through.
Actually, I think I'm wrong about the body proportions. They are the same shape, but different pieces. The RiD one has thigh swivels for a start.

Andy I shall keep an eye on the Falkirk store for you. Not sure what the odds are - they haven't had an RiD re-stock for quite a while. (Rescue Bots seems to be the main seller around here) Karl

The first two were apparently previously seen in the RiD app.
The third is a big surprise and may itself be a spoiler!
