The standard Scorponok may be easier to find.

That Starscream reminds me a lot of the...arrrggghhh...I cannot remember the name of the line...the simpler Transformers that didn't come out there that were aimed at Asian markets.

There is a distinct resemblance but they are different toys

That is why Ralph said it only reminded him of the GDO.

I've been looking at that thinking something wasn't right about it and Ralph has successfully explained why. That's it. He also kinda reminds me of the animated activators.

Slightly more articulated than the GDO version, though. Which is a shame because otherwise it's a lovely toy. And I guess that explains why I want that nuRiDScream...

Slightly more articulated than the GDO version, though. Which is a shame because otherwise it's a lovely toy. And I guess that explains why I want that nuRiDScream... Actually I've been rather tempted by it as well. I've been mulling over its advantages and disadvantages. Cons: 1) I already have multiple Starscream toys and I am supposed to be slimming down to a leaner, more deployable force, not bulking back out again. 2) It looks from that picture rather like it has a very large block of humanoid mode kibble under each wing in fighter mode, which I'm not too keen on. Pros: 1) It is a really nice design. Both the fighter mode, which feels like a stumpier cousin to the Su-47 derived Animated version(sort of like it has suffered a bit of "compression of the nose" from a cloud with rocks in, and the humanoid mode which I would agree feels like a blend of the Cyber Battallion and Animated versions. 2) I really like that head-sculpt. Has a lot of character to it. 3) It doesn't turn into an F-15 or F-22. A bit of diversity to the alt-modes never goes amiss. That said, I noticed in the SDCC Pictures, rather neglected in coverage so far but visible at the left of one of the Liokaiser shots there is an nuRiD Starscream that looks like it is one of the larger three-step changer thingies. It seems to have the same general take on the idea, but with a distinctly different transformation that tucks the legs into the fuselage and has a much more radical forward sweep angle on the wings, which also looks rather spiffy as well. Starscream needs to wait his turn though, I'm still hoping for the possibility of picking up the nuRid Windblade at some point and that has priority over adding to the Starscream pile. Karl

It's named after the episode the set is designed to illustrate. What is interesting is that there is a bona-fide accessory in there. Don't get a lot of play set type accessories with Transformers.

I'm tempted to get it just to repurpose that cell as a CR chamber.
Or I could just cut a washing up liquid bottle in half.

A great toy, and a wonderful surrogate Thunderclash.
There's more than a little Star Convoy here, it's great and only a fiver more than Titans Return Optimus Prime and the better of the two in terms of fun.

I really like Aerobolt - he is a fun little toy, and the idea that he is a Mini-con just makes me smile, he just feels ridiculously huge for one.
I really like Power Surge Prime - I think in terms of pure play value he has a lot going for him. Some fun stuff that deploys, good range of movement in the arms and legs, and a nice varied sound chip.
I'm not in a position to drop the retail on it in the near future but I think it has gone onto my "once things are more settled I may well get" list.
