The clear swords never made into production on the regular version.
But I am interested that it's YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE of Hasbro accidentally revealing a toy!
And it clarifies that I wasn't going mad when I thought the swords were clear!
They look **** in solid Energon blue!

Tis interesting. If this is a full blown new sub-line, we haven't seen any yet, so the fastest this will happen is an NYCC reveal for the new year market. Couple that with those tweeted photos of the voice cast for the cartoon recording new dialogue, maybe there is more to come from the cartoon.
Although equally it could be the film, which has now been broken into episodes to pad the second half of season two out, hasn't it?

The Combiner Force wee dude reminds of a green plane argh that I cannot remember if it was in G2 or Euro G1. It looked like that but not as chibi-style. I used to have it.
