Hmmm. Do I learn from past mistakes and get Jo to pick a Bludgeon up for me? After I told her not to worry, I'll get Ratchet over here and it'll probably be cheaper, too... The rule of thumb for toy buying is that whatever you do, the opposite will be the correct choice! |

If she buys you one, then the shelves here will overflow with plentiful ones at bargain prices. Seriously though, the UK tends to be better with some of the late wave stuff than the US, so it's not impossible, and we seem to still be getting recent stuff. |

Oh, I missed those in-hand Bludgeon photos, he still looks great. In-hand Twinferno continues to disappoint though, he looks really cheap. Hopefully he's just not photogenic, as I love the design.

Saw the latest wave for the first time today; Twinferno seems to be the shelfwarmer, there were about 8 of him to a Bludgeon and a Thermidor. He also looks as disappointingly cheap in person as I feared. The renders looked so good! Bludgeon better, but still should be the more vibrant colours of the render. I guess it looks unlikely that Takara are going to use these and do them proud?

Case is
2 x Twinferno (new mould)
1 x Bludgeon (repaint)
1 x Thermidor (repaint)
1 x Optimus Prime (repack)
1 x Bumblebee (repack)
1 x Strongarm (repack)
1 x Grimlock (repack)
You can see why the Twinfernos are building up. The problem is they've not taken into account that Bludgeon is Bludgeon and that Thermidor is the repaint of a toy that never came out here. |
