Personally....
I'd like more Headmasters. Skullcruncher, Highbrow and Snapdragon in particular.
I'd like a Voyager Megatron combiner core.
I'd like a number of free form combiner limbs not affiliated to any particular combined bot that you could use with Prime/Megatron. Transformers fans are fixed on the idea that the combined robot is a specific character rather than an extension of the core and I think that idea could be played with.
Msgnus repaint of the Prime.
I want Generations Defensor. And Devastator, with 4 limbs and a deluxe 2 pack to form the body *AND* the ability to swap one of the body parts out for Prowl.
I want more Legends Minibots and Micromasters. We know Huffer's coming and if they design it well we could get both Pipes and Erector out of it. I want Legends Skywarp to complete the set.
Leader Star Saber. Hopefully the MP should satisfy me here.
Dinobots. I find it really odd that Hasbro *isn't* doing Generations Dinobots after AoE.
I want a Generations Energon Quickstrike from Springer. I'll lay money on that being a Botcon exclusive next year or the year after. I want Duocons from the triplechangers, ideally with some fix for Blitzwing's shoulders.
I'd like to see a Generations Legion assortment getting the repaint of the remoulds that haven't been done in the west (or at all) to market: Prowl w Gun, Smokescreen w Gun, Skywarp, Acid Storm & Sunstorm w Null Rays. I'd like to see the older Legends retooled w c-clip hands
I'd like Hasbro to look at ways of getting older Classics moulds back to market in some fashion, possibly with improved decos.

A couple of others, but more general:
I'd get Encore going again.
The ASDA Dinobots have proved there's a market for redeco'd older moulds: a new Universe line recycling older stuff as newer characters, or just bringing older toys back to market is in order.

COMBINER WARS!!!!!!
I'm all over Combiner Wars like butter on a hot jacket potato! (?)
Defensor, ABOMINUS!!!!!
AND repaints to form the dream teams of '84ers combiners. Jazz from Deadend, Wheeljack from Breakdown, Prowl from Streetwise, Ratchet and Ironhide from Firstaid. 3 repainted AirRaids. Maybe Soundwave from Vortex. And a core Megatron!
WOOOOOOO!!!!!!

And if you're talking Beast Wars, CJ, I'd love to see updates of some of my favorite BW toys, namely Magnaboss, Tripredacus and Magmatron. It'd keep the whole 'Combiner Wars' theme going! The original figures are still really good, but some of the kibble issues etc could be improved with a design tweek.

Headmasters, more double Targetmasters (heck, more single Targetmasters!), Powermasters...
+1 for new-mould Action Master homages and also new mould Micromaster homages. And no fear of playing with scale, I loved Universe Powerglide.

I want Generations Defensor. There's a bit of me that wonder are they planning to do Defensor so soon after Protectobots Emergency ResponseBut Hotspot presents so much repaint opportunities. If they do him in his original light blue then a red version is a must either as Fire Chief/Inferno/RID Optimus. And Inferno leads to Grapple.

I've been convinced for a long time that a more articulated PM Prime is possible: I'd love to see that tackled and get close the box back image www.botchthecrab.com/galleryImage.asp?gallery=2&image=39

Yeah, i don't think every combiner is on their hit list. Pretty sure the two protectobot repaint sets means Defensor won't happen. And since we just had FoC Bruticus, I have a feeling the combaticons are low priority, too. Hope I'm wrong on both.
I think Devastator is a high priority, given he's the most iconic combiner, and hasbro hasn't touched him since RotF. Computron is the only other unique Autobot combiner.
I think if Bruticus happens, it'll be mix and match repaints. *Maybe* a new Onslaught mold.
Sadly none of the ones I want most will happen. Terrorcons, and Seacons. (With Monsterbots and God Neptune repaints)

Hmmm. If we include The Comics Event in our calculations we'd assume Protectobots aren't involved since the comic being used is RID and all five are in MTMTE. On the other hand RID uses Devastator a lot and has used Monstructor so they're possibly on the table. Terrorcons have been seen recently in Wingblade, upgraded to their BH bodies since the Trial of Megatron. Trial also saw a few of the Seacons, back on Cybertron after their Lost Light incarceration.

I'm going to be controversial here and say that if they are going to do an update to Devastator, what I'd really like to see is a decent RotF Devastator. Just because I really liked that design, and was disappointed that the "Supreme" class toy that Hasbro put out didn't have limbs that turned into smaller robots. Takara, however, managed it with the Legends class toy, which was a thing of beauty. If they could manage that, then surely they can manage it at a larger scale.
It won't happen, of course. They'll do a G1 version of Devastator if nothing else. But I can dream.
And I can also keep banging the drum for Pretenders. Pretenders, dammit!

I have high hopes for Protectobots and Combaticons, mainly because we've already seen repaint oportunities in the Aerialbots and Stunticons shown. Swindle and even Firstaid from the Wildrider, and Vortex and Blades from the Slingshot. They could even stick roof lights on Breakdown or Deadend if they wanted, but that wouldn't look as good as a new Streetwise mold obviously. In Dragstrip they've shown they will do molds with little obvious repaint possibilities. Could Onslaught and Hotspot be the same mold? Swap a ladder for a canon? With a red fire-engine repaint as well?
Then if you add in all the many obvious repaints for any of the limbs, Hasbro can get lots of miles out of the four main teams.
Terrorcons molds have repaints as well, but not many, so I'm very concerned we wont see them.

Terrorcons molds have repaints as well, but not many, so I'm very concerned we wont see them. Hotspot and Onslaught from one mould is a genius idea, with the same level of remoulding as Springer and Sandstorm you'd hardly notice. Personally I can see Defensor being on the horizon as well. If anything having a repaint set coming out soon seems to increase the likelihood, at the very least it doesnt hurt it. Only last year we had FOC Whirl and Roadbuster, GDO Springer and Swerve the year before, the fact they are in a comic, any comic at all can only be a positive too. So how many reuses could there be? Wildrider - First Aid , Swindle Slingshot - Vortex , Blades Silverbolt - Scattershot (probably would wind up being quite different from the original, but if the front of the plane can be replaced with a giant laser they would be at least vaguely on the right lines) Assuming we then get the rest of the Protectorbots Hotspot - Onslaught Groove - Afterburner Streetwise - Afterburner alternatively Dregstrip with the a new chest piece faking the top of the car mode and if the combaticons are release Brawl - Nosecone Blast Off - Strafe So in theory starting with just the 10 stunticons and Aerialbots it would only take 5 new moulds (and a lot of remoulding to produce 3 more entire sets. If the combiner concept is the big thing for the next year, thats not a bad investment for Hasbro. Chuck in Prime and Autobot repaints and G2/RID sets and as I once mentioned about the original G1 combiners more leftfield options like a Liokaiser theres all kinds of possibilities. As for the rest I bet with some remoulding they could make Terrorcon and Seacon limbs from the same moulds and there would be potential for Dinobot repaints there. Just need unique voyager moulds.

Indeed, not asking for one, happy with Universe, but I would like to see more messing around with scale like that in Generations-type lines. I suspect we won't see it too much though as it's sadly quite divisive among fans. Much as I'm not too interested in the new Jetfire, I might be tempted if they did a Hooligan from it, or even G2 Jetfire (or one of the other repaints of the Cyberjet). Even though they're unlikely to be as fun as the originals, I'm always happy to see AEC homages. Armada Red Alert, Demolishor, Cyclonus would all be welcome. -Jim

I think so, it's the first real opportunity I've spotted.
Of course Quickstrike is a repaint of Bulkhead who is Springer in all but name!

When I'm thinking about what I'd like out of the Generations line I always come back to the fact it's a collector's line, and I'm a collector. I like sets and I like to complete things. The Thrilling 30 line initially looked like a random mess, but it's clear now it's a kind of greatest hits collection in itself, representing highlights from the history of the line. In terms of new stuff the Combiner Wars idea is neat because it presents mini collections in itself, but I'd love to see one done from outside the four Special Teams too; Technobots or Seacons especially.
If I was in charge I'd like to see areas they've visited tidied up – like the Legends line eventually covering ALL of the original mini-bots, and particularly as Phil says, if we're getting one Headmaster it would be nice at least to have the main four Autobots. That's a set in itself. In addition, given how good the Beast Wars updates have been, it'd be nice to have the original core cast completed. A voyager Primal and a deluxe Cheetor at least.
I do have an idea though I'd love to see implemented, but I doubt it would be because the CHUG line of toys has needed its own promotional tie-in since it was rebooted with WFC (then FoC, then IDW). We've seen the way the Platinum line has blossomed recently, so there's clearly a market for better finishes on existing moulds. So take the 'Greatest Hits' idea the Thrilling 30 line is and give us the full works boxset equivalent. I'd like Hasbro to go back through the whole of the CHUG era and settle on the definitive mould for each of the original G1 characters and give us box sets of them with Platinum quality finishes, and label sheets, and do it in numbered three figure presentation packs (like those Henkei three packs that came out recently?) that go through in sequence. Give us two a year for each faction, one every three months.
I'd love that. Then you could have the definitive collection of remasters with really nice finishes alongside the original G1 collection of the same figures.

I think Platinum is the best place for something like that. There are some great characters or great toys that don't need whole new molds, but don't fit in any traditional price points. Examples: RiD Megatron would be ideal. The toy is the star, and does not need a new mold, as there is just no way to improve it. But it doesn't fit in the normal retail lines anymore. Likewise, a Platinum Edition set of RiD Railracer would be an awesome way to get it back out, and supplement the Combiner Wars theme (so would Tripredicus and Magnaboss). But I think through a combination of store and internet exclusives, that an expansion of the Platinum Edition line would do splendid for your idea. After all, it makes virtually zero sense as it exists now. (That weirdass weaponizer ultra magnus was beyond pointless)

I'm of the mind that the Combaticons and Protectobots can be done with three new molds.
Hotspot- new mold First Aid- Offroad Blades- Alpha Bravo Streetwise- Dead End Groove- New Mold
Onslaught- heavy retool of hotspot Swindle- Offroad Vortex- Alpha Bravo Blastoff- one of the jets Brawl- new mold
While I don't see the technobots as being able to be done without entirely new molds.

I think you're pretty much spot on there, CJ, except firstly I'd hope we'd get a new mold for Blast Off, but secondly, I wonder if they'll not give Groove a new mold, and make him out of one of the sports cars, Dragstrip perhaps. The motorcylce being so out of scale.
Streetwise also I'd like to see a new mold for, having a different style of robot mode to the other limbs.
The Technos I think they could pull off, but you'd need completely new molds for the Terrorcons. Although the Terrorcon limbs could be achieved from the same mold with different creature parts.
