That looks very nice. If it is well made it could be a winner!

Third mode is supposed to be a gerwalk mode. Dont think it's pictured in the in-hand gallery But, um, Whirl doesn't have wings... (Gerwalk is an acronym - Ground Effective Reinforcement Winged Armament with Locomotive Knee-Joint). Without wings Whirl can't meet the qualification... :-) That said, the two modes he does have look pretty good. I am halfway considering breaking my "not buying characters I already own" rule for him. Karl

Whatever its called then, i dont care. Same damned thing, so it's a matter of semantics.
edit- Didn't mean for that to come out as indignant as it reads, lol. Was meant to have more of a silly and flippant tone to it, lol

I will admit to never understanding the point of a gerwalk mode on a toy. I've never considered it a mode. Always looks like a badly mis-transformed toy to me!

Kinda has a Beast Machines aesthetic to it. I'm strangely drawn towards this spindly figure. The gallery on hk-tf has a pic of the 3rd mode in case you missed it Crazy Jetty.

And yet doesn't seem dated...!? Design classics, even when obscure, don't tend to date so much. :-) Both the Gazette and the Caliber (used for Roadbuster) designs are kind of hidden gems of the early eighties in my view, wonderfully thought through designs whose own show doesn't appear to have made any real splash to help them get noticed - their stablemate, the Tulcas, is rather less impressive admittedly. Battle Masters, huh?
I see they've given up giving Megatron any sort of fixed appearance- this lad looks more like Bombshell.

You're more knowledgeable than I in the dark arts of reading Hasbro UK, but those assortments and release dates do at least appear to match what BBTS is saying for them - and last year we got wave one of the Thrilling 30 deluxes at the same time as the US (if not just before iirc?). Those assortments would also mean on these shores at least that the pick of the earlier waves do come out here (Waspinator & Scoop) and there'd be no repaints in the UK version of the line, which might appeal to Hasbro as they seem to like to keep the Generations line thin. It *seems* to make sense.

Years of late waves in lines never appearing over here have made me cautious!

Especially when earlier waves haven't showed up.
Several thoughts: what's Hasbro uk doing announcing this at Nurenburg rather than London? That's a bit odd unless Hasbro UK are now running TFs in Europe. I don't know how well Generations has been distributed on the continent.
What I am seeing is a complete lack of Beast Hunters items from Hasbro UK.... And indeed Hasbro US so far. No BBTS pre orders. The only place I've seen the new Cyberverse and up sized Cyberverse is in Asian markets. Has BH been canned for a western release this year and, in order to fill the gap before the movie, the last two waves of Generations gone on general release?
It's an odd announcemt and no mistake.

I saw it suggestred elsewhere this morning that Waspinator should be repainted as Bugly!
I have cash for you Hasbro!
Personally I think there's an Optimus Prime repaint somewhere within Skids/Crosscut

I been saying bugly from wasp, since beast wars began.
Skids is perfect for prebeast tarantulas. Takes a bit of time to see it, though. But once you do, there is no better choice.

So, who saw that Megatron - Megadrive concept art from Takara. It's so ridiculous that I have to have it.

If it has one of those plug and play mini megadrives built in I'll get one for sure. As it probably wont I think its the sort of thing I really need to avoid if I keep my spending down this year.
Whatever else it must put Megatron ahead in the crazy alt mode category, cap, trainer and megadrive.

If I am ever driven to buy this Nightbeat, he will stay in car mode forever.
I don't know how Hasbro can have gotten these two so wrong. Were they really that desperate to use that Jazz mold again?

Nightbeat it bought because its the jazz mould, but its a very silly nightbeat.
