Buggered if I can find MWOM #29. Is that out or how I got my dates mixed up?

I've been in a lot of Smiths of late looking to see what they actually get. It does seem random. Fortunately my local one is back to a full compliment this month. Having missed Civil War 5 entirely there is an abundance of 6. But it's the only one of about six Smiths I've been in in the last week that have it. Some only had Spider-Man. X-Men is another rarity it seems. Tesco had Civil War last month, but not this.
No Consistency! (which is victory)

There's some conjecture upthread, see tmukhub.proboards.com/post/249185/thread and the next few posts. That's it as far as we know. The First ANAD Avengers issue for Civil War II is 13 so that's some way off yet - 9 issues. Standoff first. Can't see them stretching CW that long without any actual CW!

I'm banking on this being the last. It was just a tie in for the film release. Same as any other short lived film tie in comic that runs for a handful issues before fading away. Bit of a punt on their part I reckon, but I'd buy other maxi series like that if they reprinted an event series with the key associated incidental issues. I know it's not expensive than buying the trades, but there's something nice about having the wider story unfold monthly.

Panini day.
Civil War 7 in hand: there is going to be an 8 and it has got Cap 25 in it as I thought. It's got the word Epilogue on the title so I imagine that's it.

May have to subscribe for MWOM. Second month in a row I couldn't find it on release day.
In other news, WH Smiths Edinburger must really think the new volume of X-Men will sell gangbusters as they appear to have quadrupled their shelf copies for #1 and #2 compared to previously (and also dropped MWOM at the same time). Their shelves are literally overflowing with so many copies they're slipping off and landing on the shelves below!

Pleased about Civil War. An epilogue issue sounds good to me.

FFS! Avengers Universe #1 spoils the mystery of who the new Thor is in their Avengers text guide before that story has run in Marvel Legends. Not *@ happy! I thought the titles were supposed to be in tandem now? Their own schedule just blew the months long mystery plot! -Ralph Apology in this month's Avengers Universe letter column in response to a letter. In fact the letters columns of both AU and Wolverine & Deadpool make interesting reading.

A letter? Only a letter from Mr Ayres himself! Such modesty I liked AU this month. I wasn't sure about these new lineups, but I think I've clicked with Uncanny Avengers now.

A letter? Only a letter from Mr Ayres himself! Such modesty "A" might be undercooking it slightly as well. Was Avengers the only title you bought this week? I liked AU this month. I wasn't sure about these new lineups, but I think I've clicked with Uncanny Avengers now. I like this Uncaany Avengers Lineup - both characters and art team. Best the title's been IMO.

Was Avengers the only title you bought this week? Yep. I infer from your post that you have a letter in Wolverine & Deadpool too, but neither of those characters interest me enough to want to buy that.

read your W&D letter phil, agree entirely with sentiment although in the nicest possible way I think they told you tough!!!!
I do kinda see where they are coming from although personally I think its more lack of faith in the X23 character than anything, I bet you hes back in time for Wolverine 3

I've heard literally no buzz about it at all.

It's "yet another Marvel Crossover" which only happened cos "There's a film with a similar name out"
Draw your own conclusions!
The last good superheroes fight series was waaaaay back in the 80s! X-Men/FF (NOT The Jim Lee one!) and X-Men/Avengers (bar the last issue)

Dropped Hulk. It has been on a downward spiral since the She-Hulk run finished. Drooped Spidey. Pointing out that your main character is a KO Iron Man just as the reader thinks it is not a clever thing to do.
Persevering with MWOM, Avengers, X-Men and Legends. I get enough enjoyment out of them.

Pointing out that your main character is a KO Iron Man just as the reader thinks it is not a clever thing to do. Yup, dead right. Too far removed from the traditional Spider Man background. I bailed a few issues back after reading since the start of Brand New Day Persevering with MWOM, Avengers, X-Men and Legends. I get enough enjoyment out of them. -Ralph Never bought Legends. MWOM's gone, don't fancy Dr Strange or Black Widow. Wolverine & Deadpool could go, really not getting the X-23 Wolverine.
