Legends has been a consistently good read for me, more than the other titles.

I've loved Female Thor when I've read it, but not really and Iron Man fan.

Legends is top banana. Wicked stuff. Avengers was good this month too, but I wasn't so hot on the previous two issues with the really weird Avengers teams in.

The Nova/Ultimate Spiderman/Ms Marvel team? I think that's OK, if not a traditional Avengers team.
But the Uncanny team is really working for me big time. I love see Wade & Nathan in the same book together.

Yes, the Uncanny stuff is great, bar Deadpool, but the Ms Marvel stuff is a little off the wall for my taste.

Female Thor has been tops after a shaky first issue.

I can't remember the issue - but think it was Marvel Legends that had a nice wraparound cover in shops within the last 2 weeks.

So, having now read Civil War #8, how is that situation resolved in the long run? Is Rogers dead? how does he come back?

So, having now read Civil War #8, how is that situation resolved in the long run? Is Rogers dead? how does he come back? He comes back because SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH I read it and I don't know. I really liked it when he was dead. I thought that run of comics was amazing and brilliant, and the idea that he had been assassinated gave everything a lot more weight, but apparently the gun he was shot with was a TIME GUN or something and he was travelling through time and I have no idea. Also it was identical to how Batman didn't die either.

He came back because Marvel are obsessed with the comics aligning with the films whenever there is a big film out so Cap was in a film so had to be alive again. Even though 99% of folk watching the films don't read the concurrent comics (or are even aware they exist).

The Cap is dead storyline was genuinely gripping until the TIME GUN nonsense.

Avengers United is nearing my 'to drop' red button of doom. The stories within have been hyper-shit post SW. Everyone is just too sassy and quipping all the time. There's no sense of danger or excitement. Duggan's writing is as bland as on Hulk and the wrong Mark Waid has turned up. It doesn't help that I cannot stand Deadpool. I give it one more issue before deciding whether to drop it for a while.
Still enjoying MWOM, Essential X-Men and Marvel Legends.

How are you feeling after this month's? I thought I was going to dislike a solo Nova title being printed, but the story itself was quite good. Still not sure about that bunch of misfits being 'The Avengers' though.
What's this Ultron thing though? Is it pre secret wars? Why is Doom back in his mask? This is my only problem with Paninivision. It's a narrow view of the bigger picture and I forever feel like I'm missing something.

AU got a reprieve because it promised me Alan Davis drawing Ultron. The Nova pish tried my patience though. I do not give a flying **** about Sam.

The only time I have liked Nova was in New Warriors then in the post Annihilation cosmic stuff by Abnett and co.
Other than that, no thanks.

He seems to get younger every issue, but I guess that's the way he's being drawn. I wasn't that enamoured with the Alan Davis artwork in the Ultron strip.

No, while it was a good story it's pre Nicieza making Nova bearable.

In current Paninivision, it just feels like the Z-grade writers have been put on it. No sparkle. No excitement. Just feels like it's all circling the drain.

FFS! Just like 'Age of Ultron', 'Ultron Forever' barely features the title character! Not &@&@&! happy. Finishes next issue which will be my dropping off point for a while. Just not enjoying current Avengers. -Ralph

I notice Christmas has got in the way of the release schedule. We should be due Avengers Universe this week, but it's been bumped a week to next Thursday according to the back page. I wonder if they'll straighten that out and have three weeks before the next one.
