I'm kind of disappointed in the BBC there - they managed to cram in a number of 80's references as well as Game of Thrones into that story but missed the obvious opening to reference Arrow (or if it was an older journalist, the Green Arrow comic). Their research-fu is weak. Karl |

I keep getting nagged by my chums to read Noah. I have surrendered to peer pressure and will take it with me to read on the train tomorrow.
I will now prove I have opened the book:
They get it right that Lamech died in the year of the flood. And I knew I recognised the name Tubal Cain from somewhere, he's the timelord with the War Tardis in the Stockbridge Horror.

No, Lamech died 5 years before the flood. It'sa Noh's grandfather Methuselah who died the year of the flood

I'm glad you are reading it. My understanding is that it was sent to you with the understanding you would play the game as others have done with your True Friend gifts!
I also suggest you don't compare this to the Biblical account of the Flood. It is after all the book of the film of the graphic novel of the monotheistic Genesis retelling of the Ancient Near Eastern polytheistic myth genre.
