Links on the forum to Twitter should now be showing as embedded Twitter posts. For example I've pasted a link bellow which should show a nice picture of MPs Ultra Magnus & Star Saber (it may take a moment to show)
https://twitter.com/TFYUKI/status/548766037378756609UPDATED: For example I've pasted a link bellow which should show a nice picture of the Netflix toys However we're not sure it's working right! So can you see A) a tweet, with Japanese text, and a picture
B) a link
C) nothing
D) something else, if so what? Can you also tell us what device you are using (pc, tablet, phone), os and also browser? ta!

However it doesn't show if I switch to mobile view with the same device. Is it to do with the width of the twitter window you're embedding? It may be too wide for the mobile view to display. Try reducing the width of the twitter window right down as a test? Or does the mobile view not show other embedded features like videos either?
I'd say from the feedback you've got here that the problem is with what the mobile view is showing, not the device rendering it. Fort Max and Shockprowl are both using phones, which would default to the mobile view.

It's definitely just the mobile view. I was looking at this on my phone last night: mobile view - no twitter box, desktop view, twitter box is fine. The acid test would be to switch to mobile view while viewing on a PC, but there's no link to do that from the bottom of the page and the URL for mobile view seems to be the same as the desktop one.
If you google that as a proboards problem there are threads on their support forum that say embedded tweets don't display in their mobile app, so I'd guess it was the same for the mobile view.

It would appear as if the forum is also processing Facebook links in the same way: Facebook Link

It would be nice if Proboards just dropped us an email to say what is being changed.

I still have trpuble with some Twitter links on mobile devices although those FB and Imstagram pics show ok. I think it might be the coding for how Proboards displays on different mobile browsers, because I occasionally have problems when looking online on the phone and then it's okay. Andy

Had a text from Ken this morning saying he's having trouble with some of my posts appearing blank, presumably those with Twitter and FB links on Firefox. Mine occasionally take a few seconds longer to load the content but apart from that they're fine.
Anyone else had the blank posts problem recently?

OK. Just found the household tablet to log back on here after George kicked me off the PC to play the new X-Com game. Also using Firefox on this machine and Phil's Twitter stuff is now visible. I've narrowed it down

The world of Facebook addresses for photos is a murky one and Proboards needs them to be in exactly the right format to display them. If you click on a facebook photo in facebook you'll get an address at the top of the screen that looks something like this: https://www.facebook.com/DaimChocReports/photos/pcb.311049965912104/311049879245446/?type=3&theater The first thing you want to do is loose everything at the end in red. You want the bit of the start of the address, the facebook.com and the name (or identifier number) of the person making the post. https://www.facebook.com/DaimChocReports follow that up with /posts/ https://www.facebook.com/DaimChocReports/posts/ Then you want to add one of the numbers. Here it's nice and simple - there's two numbers and they both do different things! The first number in the address above, in green, will produce a link to the post that's been made with all the photos in it. https://www.facebook.com/DaimChocReports/posts/311049965912104 The second number in the address above, in cyan, will produce a link to that particular photo only https://www.facebook.com/DaimChocReports/posts/311049879245446 Some addresses will look a little different, generally it is the last number you're looking for. Some addresses will not have a user name in it, experimentation is needed to work out which number is the user name!
