My iPad can do it depending on the speed of the connection and how many embedded fb/twitter posts are on the same page

Well, it would at least be a test to see if the browser on Ralph's Note is what's at fault.

It may just be the phone showing its age (it's a Note 3) as Messenger programs and email don't always show notifications since the last few updates either.

I've just figured something out that's been annoying the heck out of me for ages. I've always used Phil's guide above to embed facebook posts, but more and more recently I don't get Facebook links in the format above when right clicking on the time of the post. Instead I get these permalinks: www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=147324300182129&id=106900380891188But having fiddled with it, I see now if you reverse the two numbers and put /posts/ between them, like this: Original: www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=147324300182129&id= 106900380891188Switched around:
https://www.facebook.com/106900380891188/posts/147324300182129It works

book and face switched so it shows the url and doesn't embed it My method round this is to stick an open and close bols bold tags in the middle of the https. works a charm |

I must "thank" Ben for the path he inadvertently set me on yesterday!
He mentioned TR, which brought us to Legends Lioconvoy, which got me to link to the thread..... and then I saw the large number of blank posts that had contained tweets from the now deleted TFYuki twitter account.... which then made me think "are those images elsewhere?"
Running at around 95% restored for the pictures so far in the Legends thread. I need to go back and check the posts prior to them starting TR in Legends then the Fort Max and Unite Warriors thread.
It'll keep me occupied and off the streets....
